Please give our newest gal, Jenny (not from the block lol), a warm welcome 👏 into our rescue. Jenny had the fortunate opportunity to be dumped by her backyard breeder, who decided she wasn't worth keeping around anymore. We took her into SCFBR before she could be taken to the shelter. Jenny is approximately 3️⃣ years old and likes to be the center of attention. She definitely takes command when she enters a room! She is learning (very quickly we must add) how to be a pet dog in a home. Prior to rescue, Jenny only knew how to live in a garage birthing puppies. Jenny is currently living with another older Frenchie foster brother who is tolerating her energy. Her foster mom tells us Jenny is learning how to behave around other dogs (humping is a no-no), how to potty outside like a big girl, and walking on a leash. "She has lots of spirit"...direct quote 🥰 Jenny has not lived with cats or children. We recommend children 8 and up for her new home since she has not been exposed to babies or toddlers. Overall, Jenny is very healthy. A spay is in her very near future...no more breeding for her! Then she will be ready for her furever 🏡. Are you wondering who this sweet face belongs to? Wonder no more! This is 🩷Meladie🩷 Meladie is a 4️⃣ year old owner surrender. We believe she was given up because she was too old to breed any longer. If you are looking for a mellow gal, who is 100% unbothered by anything going on in the home...look 👀 no further!! Seriously, this girl is AMAZING! She has lived in a foster home with quite a few other foster Frenchies over the past couple of months and nothing phases her. Her foster mom said she envisions Meladie with a senior citizen who just wants someone to hang out their lap all day 🥰. Meladie does have some unique 'features' that make her even more endearing; she is a slightl bow-legged in the back and her eyes 👁 👁 are a little further apart than most Frenchies (great peripheral vision?) I absolutely adore attention and love being around kids and other dogs, but let's be real — I want to be the star of the show! I'm super easygoing and affectionate, plus I'm crate trained and potty trained. I do have some allergies, so I need a special diet and Cytopoint injections every six weeks to stay in tip-top shape. I'm a loving and loyal girl with a cute underbite who enjoys going for walks and spending quality time with my humans. While I usually get along with other dogs, I can sometimes have minor disagreements, and I can be a bit particular about my toys. Yes, her smushy face and her short legs and chubby body make her adorable, but her charm is what captivates everyone who meets her! Despite the trauma of being attacked and severely injured by another dog a couple months back, Brielle is healed up and the sweetest three-year-old brindle Frenchie girl you will ever meet! She loves her toys (especially soft ones she can chew on) and zooming around the yard, but her favorite spot to be is snuggling up next to her person. She loves to play around with her small foster sister, but always keeps her large foster brother in check. She would do well with a small sibling in her forever home, but would be just fine being the one and only princess as well. Brielle likes to give lots of juicy kisses with her big tongue; which usually hangs out a little when she sleeps.
