Story
Shana is a sweet, loving, and cuddly pup. She enjoys playing fetch - tennis balls are life! Laptime, nudging your hands for pets, and snuggling are other favorite pasttimes. She does not like to be snatched/grabbed unexpectedly. She is an alpha female, in foster with several other dogs. She is looking for a dog-savvy home with older kids and adults, and tons of attention.

Story
Brioche (Breeosh) and Ciabatta were both dumped at an LA shelter with obvious severe neglect of medical issues that could have been easily treatable. However, they were neglected for so long that each now requires invasive ear ablation surgery on both ears and treatment of a URI infection. Both girls have C-section scars so they have had at least one litter, but judging by their teeth, look very young.   Brioche is a small little girl at just 22 lbs at the time of intake. She loves affection, other dogs and people. Brioche has been introduced to the cats and is curious but has not had the confidence to interact with them. Playing with the other dogs and butt scratches are her favorite at the moment. She is quiet, kennels well and is doing excellent with house breaking.   Frenchies are NOT an easy or inexpensive breed to own. They require regular grooming between their skin folds, they CANNOT be outdoor dogs, they CANNOT tolerate heat and they CANNOT tolerate much exercise, Frenchies can also be hard to train. They tend to have allergies, pyoderma and ear infections. Frenchies often end up with IVDD (Intervertebral disc disease) that may require surgery. You can try to prevent IVDD by not allowing your Frenchies to jump up on furniture, beds, into cars, etc. So it is best to get pet insurance for them right away. If you are ready to commit to adopting a French Bulldog, you are accepting all the good AND bad that come with this breed.  DFAM does not normally rescue non working dogs. Therefore the adoption requirements are slightly different than those listed on our linktree.  Both Brioche and Ciabatta have undergone ear ablation surgery and will need to go under again to try to save their ear canal so they can hear. We are accepting adoption applications, but when they will be ready to go home will be determined based on the capabilities of the adopter and knowledge of DFAM based on where they are at in the treatment and surgical healing of their ears.  ##2276117##

Story
🌜Our sweet Luna is looking for her furever home🌛 Luna was given up by a family who didn't love her enough to accept her medical needs. Her "family" dumped her at a LA Shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized. She is now looking for a family who will love her for what she is: sweet, spunky, cuddling, and VERY capable! Luna does very well in her custom wheelchair at the dog park and a home. She also ❤ to play with her dog toys and sleep in bed with her foster mom and fur-siblings. If you are interested in meeting Luna, or knowing more about her, please submit an application
