Story
Meet Thelma (mom) and Louise (daughter)! This mom/daughter duo (believed to be related) were found and attempts to locate rightful owners were unsuccessful. We believe they were dumped, unfortunately, because they were found in a secured area of an apartment complex and nobody knew where they came from. They did not have any collars or microchips.  These girls are in a foster home with other dogs and are learning potty training. We believed they lived in crates, because they do great sleeping in them overnight. They have not been exposed to cats or children, however, we don't think kids will be an issue. These girls are so sweet and docile. They just want love and affection. We estimated Thelma (mom) to be around 2.5 years old and Louise (daughter) around 9 months old, no older than a year.  We are adopting these two girls together. We will not separate them. Their adoption fee will cover their vet expenses and assist outstanding vet bills. Their adoption fee together is $1200. They are spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.  An application is the first step in order to arrange a meet/greet, followed by a home check. February 2, 2025, 11:57 am

Story
Meet Sookie! Sookie is a 3-year-old, short and stocky French bulldog who’s as lovable as she is energetic! This little snuggle bug adores being close to her foster sibling and thrives on affection. She'll have you hooked on her positive attitude in no time! Sookie’s journey hasn’t been the easiest. Sookie joined the freedom squad as an owner surrender after having been rescued on the side of the road. Despite her past, Sookie has blossomed in her foster home, revealing her sweet, playful, and loving personality every day. Sookie's recovery has been remarkable thus far, and we can't wait to continue watching her grow! She has some ongoing ear issues common in French bulldogs, requiring regular maintenance to keep her comfortable. Currently, her ears are cleaned every other day and a steroid cream is applied to reduce inflammation. Moving forward, her forever family should clean her ears every 3–5 days as part of her routine care. We think her floppy ear gives her a goofy charm and hope you think so too! Sookie is incredibly devoted and loves to be with her people, often preferring to sleep in the same bed rather than in a crate. While she’s mostly potty trained, she’s still adjusting and benefits from a consistent schedule and positive reinforcement. With praise and patience, she’s improving quickly. While Sookie is good on a leash and loves to take walks, she spends most of her day playing with her friends. Toys are her absolute favorite! She loves carrying them around and flipping them all over the house. Sookie tends to think she's the boss, so finding a home with a non dominate dog would be preferable. Sookie can also jump high, so having a fence or secured yards is a must. Sookie would be the perfect companion for someone seeking a loyal, cuddly, and friendly shadow. She thrives on love and attention, and her new family will be rewarded with unconditional love and devotion in return. Sookie is currently being fostered in Phoenix, AZ. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption donation fee is $1,000. If you’re ready to welcome Sookie into your life, apply today!

Story
Meet Tank: The Mighty Frenchie Couch Potato Age: 3 years old Background: Former owner surrender, now ruling our hearts If you’re looking for a lovable, snuggly tank of a dog with a flair for the dramatic, then stop scrolling! Tank’s got a unique set of hobbies and rules, all bundled up in a perfectly squishy Frenchie package. Here’s everything you need to know about your potential new best friend: Tank has a unique playstyle, he is a linebacker meets snuggle bug. He plays hard, wrestles like a champ, and can handle any dog that comes his way. But don’t worry, he’s a gentle giant with other pups. Just maybe steer clear if you’re a plush toy—Tank likes to chomp on those, too! This guy has massive sleep goals het set throughout the day, let’s just say proud professional sleeper here. He’ll snooze all day if you let him. But miss his 3 daily walks? Get ready for a “walkout” (pun intended). If he’s bored, he’ll grab his toys or, yes, his leash, to remind you it’s time to stretch those little legs. Tank’s the ultimate “proximity player.” He likes his space, but don’t worry—you’ll always be in his line of sight. Expect his watchful eyes from across the room, like a cozy little bodyguard who’s just close enough. This boy LOVES his food. Like, really loves it, seriously look at the size of him! He’ll gobble it up in record time and then look at you like, “What’s next?” A slow feeder is a must—otherwise, his enthusiasm may lead to… let’s just call it a “quick encore” performance of his meal. Tank’s not a fan of big crowds of humans. But bring in a dog party, and he’s the life of it! Imagine a stoic “dog’s dog” who can’t be bothered with human fanfare but will happily hang out with a furry pack all day long. Tank is learning the car life and although uber is not his favorite thing and at first, car rides were a big NOPE for Tank. But he’s slowly warming up to the idea. Now he’ll hop in with a look that says, “Okay, this is fine, but only because you’re here.” New to the idea of windows, Tank’s starting to get it! He’ll sit on the balcony or the couch, peering out like a mini bouncer keeping an eye on his territory. Think of him as the neighborhood watch dog—only way cuter. This keeps him busy throughout the day in between his nap goals. What a way to live life! So easy what a free loader! Tank’s not into big leaps. Beds? Nah. Sofas? Not really., Stairs are a must for him plus it is beneficial to him in the long run. He does love a morning cuddle session and has his own sleep system: cage for naps, bathroom floor if he’s too hot, and sometimes the closet if he wants a cozy little den. You’ll see a “morning cuddle” side to him that’s sure to melt your heart. Once terrified of stairs, Tank now owns them. Every trip up is a chance to race his dad, and Tank never loses. (Or at least he thinks so.) He shows no signs of any medical issues and is in really great health, of course we cant predict his future, he is a French bulldog! Tank’s looking for a home with people who understand his quirks, his love for space, and his big dog dreams in a Frenchie body. Sound like your new best friend? He is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped so if you love this guy and want to meet him, fill out an adoption form, and prepare for a lifetime of laughs, cuddles, and “couch potato with a side of spunk” energy! Adoption donation fee $1000.00.

Story
Adoption Profile: Moose Meet Moose who is 2.5 years young, and a 27-pound French-English Bulldog mix with a soft brindle coat and a heart full of gratitude. Hie eyes are so endearing and full of life when he looks at you! This goofy, lovable boy is as unique as they come and is ready to find his forever family! A Little About Moose Moose is already potty trained and loves being close to his human. He’s also independent enough to enjoy playing with his toys, which he lovingly collects in his crate to build a “treasure box” of his favorite things. His quirky, funny personality will bring endless joy to your home! Moose’s Journey Moose came to us from East Valley Humane Society as a stray. When he arrived, he had mange, missing fur on his face, legs, and back, and a large mass forming in one of his floppy ears. After surgery and proper care, he’s now healthy and thriving. He also requires eye drops for dry eyes and has recovered well from a past eye ulcer that was caught and treated early. Moose’s resilience and gratitude for his new lease on life are evident in everything he does. Moose’s Personality • Goofy and Endearing: He has the cutest lower lip and a quirky personality. Sometimes, Moose will freeze mid-play if you call his name, giving you a comical look as though he’s deep in thought. His excited, wobbly run toward his human is the definition of pure joy. • Loyal and Loving: Moose is very attached to his foster mom and follows her everywhere, showing his appreciation with his soulful, endearing eyes. • Independent Fun: Moose loves rubbing his body on the carpet, grass, or fresh blankets, making them “his” with his signature Moose style. Compatibility • Dogs: Moose gets along well with most female dogs and some submissive males who let him do his own thing. This guy will definitely be easy to get along with other dogs after time and positive reinforcement. He enjoys his toys and playtime but doesn’t like to compete for attention with other dogs when his human is nearby, a common trait for his breed. • Crate: His crate is his safe space, and he enjoys retreating there to relax with his treasures. Moose will let you know when he’s ready to come out or needs to go outside. Training and Progress • Moose is learning to use the doggie door and making strides in socialization. • His foster mom carefully observes his interactions with other dogs, and Moose has shown significant improvement in his behavior over the last few days. • Redirection works well for Moose when he gets too excited, and he’s continuing to grow in his ability to coexist peacefully with others. Quirks and Traits • Moose’s goofy quirks, like rolling on fresh blankets or freezing mid-play, make him a constant source of laughter and joy. • He’s a thoughtful little guy, often seeming to say, “Thank you for saving me!” through his playful antics and loving gaze. Care Notes • Moose requires daily eye drops to manage dry eyes and prevent future issues. • A patient adopter who can provide consistency and gentle redirection will help him continue to thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Moose might be the perfect match for you. He’s ready to bring his quirky charm, playful antics, and unconditional love into your life. Are you ready to give Moose the forever home he deserves? He is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Adoption donation fee $1000.00, please apply for moose on our website.

Story
Meet Boondock & Saint – The Bonded Brothers! Boondock and Saint are 10-month-old French Bulldog (possibly English Bulldog mix) brothers who share an unbreakable bond. They aren't two Irish Catholic brothers who are vigilantes, but they are still puppy brothers! These two are looking for a loving home together where they can continue to thrive, heal, and bring joy to their forever family. About the Boys: Weight: Around 35 pounds each Background: They came to us from a Southern California shelter in rough shape, covered in demodectic mange. With lots of love, care, and several medicated baths a week, their fur has grown back beautifully. Saint had a tougher time recovering, but he’s all healed now! Diet: They’re on a salmon raw diet with salmon kibble to maintain their skin health and take a daily salmon probiotic to keep their coats shiny and soft. Health: No ongoing medical concerns. Both are healthy, active boys who just need occasional baths to maintain their skin. Personalities & Bond: • Boondock: The more spirited of the two, Boondock loves toys and stashes them in his crate like treasures. He’s playful, curious, and always ready for fun. • Saint: A bit more laid-back, Saint is docile and sweet. He keeps an eye on his brother and loves to snuggle when he’s not exploring. These two are deeply connected. When Saint was briefly separated from Boondock to recover from Giardia, Boondock refused to eat because he missed his brother so much. They’re always checking on each other, and while they have the occasional brotherly spat, they’re inseparable and happiest together. Training & Home Life: • Crate Trained: Both are crate-trained and go to their crates without hesitation when told. • Potty Training: Mostly potty-trained but thrive on a consistent schedule. Since being neutered, they’ve improved significantly in reducing their marking behavior. • Social Skills: They get along with other dogs but may join in on mischief if other pups aren’t playing nicely. They need a home with structure and guidance to continue developing good habits. Favorite Activities: • Wrestling and playing together like the goofy brothers they are. • Going for walks (still learning the leash but improving every day). • Lounging outside and soaking up the sun. The Perfect Home: Boondock and Saint need a family that can provide them with the love, structure, and consistency they deserve. Their foster mom adores them but knows they need a home where they’ll be the center of attention. They’ve been through so much, yet their spirited, loving personalities shine through. These big teddy bears are ready to start the next chapter of their lives. Could your home be the one for them? Both fellas are vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Adoption donation fee $2000.00. (MUST STAY TOGETHER), apply for them on our website.

Story
Meet Polly! Polly is a 3.5-year-old French Bulldog weighing 18 lbs. with a heartwarming rescue story and a personality as big as her adorable little ears. She came to us from a Southern California shelter, initially battling health issues like congestion and diarrhea. Soon after, we discovered she was pregnant, and she gave birth to four precious little “Polly Pockets.” After being an amazing mom, Polly has truly blossomed and is now ready for a fresh start in a forever home. Polly’s Personality: Polly is sweet, playful, and absolutely charming. Her journey from being a mom to becoming her own happy self has been transformative. She loves cuddling on the couch, playing with toys, and being the perfect Netflix companion for her foster mom. True to her Frenchie nature, she has a touch of stubbornness but is eager to please and thrives with positive guidance. She is Velcro and will be up in your face as much as she possibly can. The pictures and the profile do not do her personality justice. Great with Dogs & Travel-Friendly: Polly gets along beautifully with other dogs and is a social butterfly. She’s also an excellent travel buddy, ready to join her future family on adventures. She would be great as a single dog getting all the attention or run with a pack, but she will defend herself in need be. She is not an aggressor by any means. Polly is looking for a home where she’ll be cherished, not used for breeding. She has a new lease on life and is ready to share it with a family who will adore her. Health Updates: Polly has made great progress health-wise! With her foster family’s patience and care, her digestive issues are under control, and she’s feeling fantastic. Her ears show some signs of past hematomas, but they only add to her unique and lovable charm. She has had hematomas in her ears and will require constant cleaning and the adopter should always have a steroid cream for ears in stock to help with inflammation, if needed. If you’re looking for a sweet, spunky, and loyal companion, Polly might just be your perfect match. Reach out to meet this incredible little lady and give her the forever home she deserves! Polly’s adoption donation fee is $1000.00 and she is fully vaccinated, microchipped and spay. Please apply on our website for this amazing little lady!

In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches.
