Meet Biscotti, an adorable 2-year-old French Bulldog with a heart full of love and a spirit that can’t be broken. Biscotti came to us from a heartbreaking puppy mill situation, but despite her past, she’s blossoming into a sweet, playful, and curious girl who’s ready to find a family that will give her the care and affection she truly deserves.
What We Know About Biscotti:
• Personality: Biscotti is a cuddler through and through. She loves to snuggle up and fall asleep with her favorite human by her side, and she’s the kind of dog who will melt right into you at night. Despite her rough start, she’s a happy, affectionate little ham with a personality that shines through.
• Special Needs: Biscotti has some challenges due to her past, including facial paralysis and some vision issues. She’s a bit head shy and sometimes wobbles around, but nothing that slows her down too much. She’s still learning to trust and adjust, but every day she’s making progress and gaining confidence. Biscotti’s face paralysis means she doesn’t have full control of her expressions, but she’s still as lovable as can be!
• Playful & Social: Biscotti loves to play, and she’s a little mouthy menace when it comes to having fun with her doggy siblings! She’s also the sweetest at grooming her pack at night, making sure everyone is tucked in. She’s not overly social with other dogs outside her home, but she adores her foster pack and gets along wonderfully with them.
• Endearing Quirks: Biscotti occasionally sneezes in the cutest way that will remind you of Donald Duck—trust us, it’s the best thing ever! She’s also curious and always checking every nook and cranny of her environment, making sure nothing goes unnoticed. Her love for adventure keeps her on the go, and she’s full of energy, but not in an overly hyper way. She just has more endurance than some of the other dogs in the house.
• Training & Potty Habits: Biscotti is mostly house-trained, with just an occasional accident. Her foster mom is working hard to pick up on her cues, and she’s great about going potty outside with the rest of the pack. She’s very trustworthy when it comes to doing her business!
• Car Rides: Biscotti is still getting used to car rides but isn’t anxious or uncomfortable in the car. She rides like a good little girl in the passenger seat, observing the world around her.
• Health: Biscotti is generally healthy, though her facial paralysis and occasional clumsiness mean she sometimes needs a little extra help navigating. She’s still full of life and love, and her endearing personality more than makes up for any quirks.
