Story
They got me from the Richmond SPCA. I am 10 years old. I am very healthy aside from a food allergy. The kibble I need is affordable. My humans have to rehome me due to their health. Otherwise they would never give me away. They want me to spend most of my time inside . I am always friendly and want to cuddle. I am very good with cats. Best dog. Low to medium activity level. Very playful, but not interested in toys. I love to go for a walk. Terrified of most dogs. I was bullied at least once. I lived together with a beagle for some time without any problems though. I love watching other dogs from a safe distance. Partly housebroken now. My owners have problems walking me due to their health issues. I use pee pads in our house. My former owner said that I am not good with children. I do not know, why he said that.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Iver is another of our special sweet hound boys! (We have not met any foxhounds that are NOT sweet!) In addition to all the groceries he wants, he enjoys attention, and is familiar with a collar and leash. He is extremely happy to be in a foster home where he is part of a fun “pack” of hounds who have a fenced yard, plenty of exercise time, and sunshine for a relaxing break during his busy day. Ready for some fun? Consider Iver!      PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2024, 11:06 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When Gregory arrived at the shelter as a stray, he was focused on food--when would he get more? -- and had no use for posing for photos. However, once he knew the grub was on schedule every day and his belly was full, he was happy to see us and the camera! He visited the other dogs and is happy to be in a foster home now, where he shares food and lots of running room with four other dogs!  Gregory will not go hungry while he is in our care, and now that he has been neutered, microchipped, and is fully vaccinated, he is happy to be part of the hound dog pack at his foster home! We often recommend hounds to families looking for laid-back and easy-going dogs for their kids to dote upon and grow up with, as most have gentle personalities and want to be loved! Gregory is one of those! You can't go wrong, as long as you feed him and love him!      PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
