Story
COURTESY POST: Seeking a Loving Forever Home for Sweet Rosemary! Meet Rosemary, a gentle and affectionate 3-year-old mix-breed beauty (with a strong lean towards guardian dog breeds!) who's ready to find her happily ever after. Rosemary weighs about 63 pounds. This sweet girl was found wandering the streets of Lancaster, TX, clearly having recently been a mama. Now, she's looking for a warm and loving family to call her own. Rosemary's Wonderful Qualities: Sweet & Cuddly: Rosemary is a true sweetheart! She absolutely adores cuddles and believes she's a 60lb lap dog. Prepare for endless snuggles and unwavering devotion! House Trained & Polite: This smart girl is fully house-trained and has had no accidents. When you grab her collar or leash, she knows it's time for a walk and heads straight for the door! Dog-Friendly: Rosemary gets along wonderfully with other dogs, once she's had time to acclimate. She loves to play and romp with her furry friends. Bird-Safe (So Far!): She's shown no interest in pet birds, making her a potentially great addition to homes with feathered companions. Food Motivated: Rosemary is eager to please and responds well to positive reinforcement training. Her love for treats makes training a breeze! Ready for Adventure: Rosemary loves to play with other dogs, and is ready for someone to teach her how to play with toys, and maybe even fetch! Loving and Loyal: She is ready to give her whole heart to her new family. Important Information: Rosemary is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. Her new family will need to continue this treatment and ensure she receives proper veterinary care. She will need to be spayed once her heartworm treatment is completed and her vet gives the go ahead. She's approximately 60 lbs. Rosemary Needs: A loving and patient family who will provide her with a safe and comfortable home. Continued heartworm treatment and future spaying. Someone to teach her how to play with toys and fetch. Plenty of cuddles and affection! If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and gentle companion, Rosemary is the perfect dog for you! Give this deserving girl the forever home she's been waiting for. Don't miss out on the chance to add this wonderful dog to your family! We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Meet Benny! He is a 2yr old neutered male American Foxhound/Anatolian Shepherd with possibly a bit of St. Bernard thrown in the mix and weighs 57lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/13 as a stray. Benny is an amazing pup! I feel he did have a loving home at one time but has not been reclaimed. His fur is clean and soft. He is calm, gentle and loving. He enjoys being petted, loved on, and didn`t mind me giving him hugs or kisses. He even gave me a kiss back. He walks very well on a leash and takes treats gently. He has an interest in toys but wasn`t able to find one he wanted to play with. He didn`t show any interest in the other dogs barking at him, yet we do ask if there is another dog in the home, please be sure to ask the shelter for a dog test. He would make a fantastic family companion! Benny deserves to have a secured yard he can investigate and play in but then come back inside and enjoy spending time with each family member. He is a true gem! Come meet him!

Story
AIDEN's owner brought him home as a puppy and kept him on a chain his whole life. We were able to bring him into our group a few months ago. Since then he has blossomed! He cannot believe he can run and play to his heart's content. He was a little afraid of toys at first, but now he LOVES to play fetch. He is kennel trained and is very happy in his big, 54" kennel with his own window to look out of. We are introducing him to other dogs now and he is learning how to play and be a dog. Although Aiden's major breed is a Plott Hound (a large dog), Aiden is 45 pounds and full grown. He has several other hound breeds in him as well. For more information on Aiden, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com.

Story
Yippee and Yates are the only two still waiting for a forever home of the "8 is enough" series. They just passed their first birthday, and we really do not know at all why two such gorgeous and well-behaved hounds are still at the Furry Friendzy rescue. The holidays are upon us. How about giving them the gift of a loving family and home. They will definitely reciprocate in kind. Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. If you're interested in adopting, let's begin the Adoption process by clicking the link below. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FURF/Dog

Story
Honey Biscuit may be a senior lady, but she still has plenty of wiggle inside and out. This playful, ten-year-old beagle mix gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She enjoys being around people and whatever activities are bustling around her. When she gets excited, her hind end gets busy wiggling. Happy and healthy, Honey is comfortable in a crate, fabulous on her leash, and conducts her business outside like a lady. Having been on her own for a while, she will need to get used to being in a new space, so a fenced yard will help her feel safe, secure, and sheltered in her new home. Honeyâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a fan of walks, and with her lower energy level, a stroll is preferable to a run. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s sweet and loving (and a fan of treats) and quite the cuddler. A forever home where she can relax and enjoy the social scene around her will be a perfect fit. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/. Story
Molly is ~40-45 lbs and is about a year and a half old..  She loves to play which makes sense based on her young age. She does not damage things (furniture, doors, etc.); instead, she likes to play with her toys.  She is very loving and always ready to give hugs and kisses.  She enjoys being outside and indoors. She has a good appetite (is fed AM and PM). Any visitor has received a warm welcome from Molly.  I’ve seen her play tag and fetch outdoors with younger friends who have visited - maybe a younger family may be a better fit for her. She is well trained to go outside to relieve herself and uses a dog door like a pro.  She is very smart and will sit in the den when her meals are being created. Her tail has a fun curl to it. Cody's adopts dogs in the greater DFW area and does not adopt puppies under the age of 6 months into apartment homes.   https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application. ##1791198##

Story
This sweet lady is about 1–2 years old and appears to be a lovable Basset / Lab / Pyrenees mix. Lucille is amazing with other dogs and with children. Cats are unknown, but we do offer a 10-day trial period to help ensure a good fit. Lucille was found alongside a puppy we’ve named Ethel. While they were together, they don’t appear to be related — we’ll be introducing Ethel in a separate post soon. What Lucille is known for: • A champion-level cuddler • Strong opinions about baths (hard pass ) • A deep appreciation for treats • A heart ready for a family of her own If you’re ready for high-quality snuggles and a loyal, loving companion, Lucille is your girl. https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application. ##2607307##
