Story
Hi there! I'm Gibbs! I'm a super sweet hound mix that's looking for his forever home. Until February of 2024, I was used as a test subject for animal testing. I lived in a small pen without ever touching grass, seeing the sun, or experiencing a friendly touch. Since being rescued, I have adapted AMAZINGLY to my new life of freedom! I absolutely love every person I meet, am great with other dogs, and even adore cats! I am the easygoing, gentle, and loving companion that dreams are made of. If you're looking for a new best friend or the perfect addition to your family- I'm your guy! If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org. Location: Gold Bar, WA

Story
Hi all, I'm Franky! I'm still getting used to having a name, since not long ago I was only seen as a number. I lived my whole life being used for toxicity tests and living without the comfort of a warm bed. Luckily BFP came, and now I'm part of the Freedom Fields family! Due to my past, I am shy and still nervous around people. I am looking for a family that is kind and patient with me as I learn to trust and how to be a dog. I'd also prefer to have a friend in my home that can help teach me. I can't wait to experience my new life with my forever family! If you are interested in adopting me , please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org. Location: SAN ANTONIO, TX

Story
Moonpie is an absolute doll, who has been exceptionally well-behaved and sweet in her foster home. She gets along with all dogs, cats, and people. She is very small and dainty, but don't let that fool you! She is actually a bit of a tough little tom-gal. She plays hard with the big dogs, and she isn't afraid of rain or snow. Extremely cuddly, she is ready to sleep right next to you curled up in a little ball. She loves toys, and INSISTS upon going on walks, and making her desires well-known to her people. Crate trained, leash trained, and houstrained, this little lady has never had an accident in her foster's house, and minds her manners when it comes to "kenneling up." Our favorite part is that she is cat friendly....

Story
Hello, were bonded buddies. I know we don't look like your average bonded pair. This means our bond is very special. We lived in the same home for 4 years and during this time we spent all our time together. We eat together, play, sleep, and everything in between! We were surrendered do to foreclosure of our old home, this makes us very sad. Especially since we had to come to the shelter. Outside of the shelter we enjoy playing with other dogs, we love spending time with people, and getting treats. We are both on the older side and would love to spend as little time as possible in a shelter. Please consider us as the newest members of you family! We make great members.

Story
I moved back to TN in July 2022 after having to put my Pug, Jax down. That December my daughter found an 8 week old Foxhound and delivered Tilly to me on January 1st 2023. At the time I was living in a townhouse in Clarksville, and bought a home w/a fenced backyard in July of 2023. Tilly loved to run in the yard when not being walked 4 or 5 times a day. She has her own bed, a large sofa of mine or my bedroom to sleep. She loves her home. I am 77 years old and in good health. Tilly is a very sweet, strong and loving dog, and still somewhat timid. She has proven to be a challenge for my strength! I am not weak! She sleeps 9 hours every night. She loves to play upon awakening at 6:00 am. Her play consists of playing tug of war and fetching toys. I am searching for a loving home for her and have to know she will be in good hands! I love her completely and will surely miss Tilly. Finding her a loving home is of upmost importance to me!
