This playful and smart pup is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly preventatives—he’s all set to start his next adventure! Phoenix adores his people and is a big fan of fun. He’s great with other dogs, and his favorite activities include running, chasing, and playing to his heart’s content. He’s been around cats and, while he’d love to play with them, he’s respectful of their boundaries. Phoenix is learning quickly and doing wonderfully with house training. He’s also picking up his indoor manners and honing his leash skills during daily walks. We think Phoenix would make an amazing family dog, as he’s likely to thrive with kids who can match his playful energy. Meet Izzy Izzy and her 7 beautiful puppies found themselves in animal control on the euthanasia list like so many other wonderful dogs! Castoff Pet Rescue was able to rescue them from death row and find wonderful homes for all her puppies but now it's her turn! Izzy is a young hound mix, with a beautiful coat. She is active and would do good with a job, lots of play and walks. She is housebroken and would be so happy to be in a home! While she is shy around new people, once she gets to know you she will shake you down for treats. No cats or chickens, but Izzy does well with other dogs after proper introduction. Like so many hounds, she loves a good scent, and is always on the hunt for one, so she will climb a fence to pursue that squirrel! She needs a tall privacy fence or walk on leash only. She would be a great trail dog. Izzy is such a sweet girl and full of energy.. Loves to play ball and go for walks. Izzy is very well behaved but has a lot of energy she went to the Colwell Rescue Program for training. She knows how to sit and knows the word no but would benefit from more training.
