Story
Hopper was rescued from a local shelter after finding himself on the euthanasia list through no fault of his own. Hopper is playful, happy-go-lucky, and already knows a few basic commands. Hopper is very dog social and would love a home where he can play with another pup. Hopper is crate trained and walks well on leash, just a great all around guy. Hopper has been with us since May 29, 2024.

These pups are in Greenville, South Carolina too!

Story
www.pet-tender.com/adoptionform.htm   Meet Brittany, a spayed, two-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound, a southern beauty who elicits compliments wherever she goes. Miniature for the breed at 40 pounds, Brittany has lots of teenage energy and would do best in a home with a large fenced-in yard. Likely a hunting dog abandoned for, well, not hunting, she’s a happy, loving soul, bashful at first, but quick to connect with her special people. Through the efforts of her trainer and foster parents, Brittany walks well on the leash, even over long distances, and can be trusted not to have accidents in the house if taken out regularly.  She has quickly gained confidence with the sights and sounds of suburban life and recently had a fun first visit to the beach.  Most of all, Brittany adores affection—she has the unique ability to grip onto you lovingly with her front paws and lean in for minutes while you rub her velvety soft, short coat. Brittany would be fine as either a solo dog or with another young dog of a similar playful spirit and size.  This is a unique opportunity to own an uncommon breed with lots of personality. We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here. March 18, 2024, 12:23 am

Story
The Queen- Miss Glory! Large Breed Dog Experience preferred! Glory is shy at first with men and other dogs but will warm up once she feels safe! Crate, house and leash trained. Calm and gentle must have a yard to stretch her legs and plenty of play time. Hello Everyone, My Name is Glory, and I am Glorious! Words cannot describe my gentle soul or soft ears. To meet me is to love me! I am a Bloodhound, and I am a big girl. 73 Pounds and still gaining. Need to be about 80 for my perfect weight! My favorite thing is to be outside with my human, playing and running around. I am learning how to be inside and making great progress. I have not had any accidents, but right now I am only ever in the house supervised. My home will have to know how to continue helping me transition into a house pet. I do not like being in a crate, as it gives me MASSIVE anxiety and I want to break out. So, the perfect home for me would be a home where I have a dog door or someone home that can let me in and out all day long. Having a fenced yard is mandatory in Glory's case! We want her to be happy! She is not a jumper, but we do prefer a 6-foot fence due to her height! No cats and no small dogs as I have a hound prey drive ? No, you can't train that out of me as that is who I am! I like dogs at least 40 pounds and not in my face. Not fond of puppies that are in my face either. Still reading? Well, then how about filling out an application to meet me? We will meet and then I will move in with you for a trial week to make sure you are the ones for me! Super Easy Peasy! It is important that you understand that Glory was let down by her previous owners, she is shy and apprehensive due to this, when she meets new people at first. She will warm up to the women faster than the men. This can't be forced. You have to gain her trust. If you are in a rush and do not have the time to do this, please do not waste our and your time! She is a special girl looking for a special home! You won't regret it! https://www.carolina-loving-hound-rescue.com/adoption-.html If you meet the above qualifications and you think you can be my perfect home, please continue reading----Do not send an e-mail unless you have read all the way to the bottom of this Page 1. Go to our web site and fill out an application. Nothing will move forward until you do. http://carolina-loving-hound-rescue.com 2. We will give you a call within 7 Days after receiving a complete application, please do not serial e-mail us, we will work your application in the order it was received. We also work these applications between our paying jobs, taking care of our animals and families. Patience is the key! 3. Once we speak to you and feel you are a good fit, we will set up a meet and greet 4. Once we meet and do a home visit we can then and only then finalize an adoption. Every member of your household must be present for this meeting 5. We do adopt out of state and will do a home visit out of state as well 6. We will not put our dogs on mass transport or hand off transport to get to your home. .it is your responsibility to pick her up. We will make every effort to meet you part of the way but that is not always possible. 7. All animals in your house MUST be spayed/neutered unless you have medical documentation preventing you from doing so. NO EXCEPTIONS. 8. Unless you have outside working dogs we will not adopt to a home with outside dogs 9. Fence is required for me. 10. Must be 25 or above to adopt (exceptions may be made case by case) If you have any additional questions please e-mail adopt@carolina-loving-hound-rescue.com

Meet Tip! Tip is the best companion. He responds well to food training on the leash and playing catch with the ball. Tip loves to be around his peeps! Tip wants everyone to know he is faster than you, can jump like a deer, and is getting quite good at balancing on his back feet. And that is no cap! The lad has mad skills! If you need some motivation to move, Tip is your boy! Tip would do best in a home with no small children and an owner dedicated to training and mental stimulation for this workin boy!  He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Tip is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT TIP!! www.LuckyPupRescueSC.com The adoption fee is $300.00 and we require a vet check and home visit. November 5, 2024, 4:05 pm
