Story
He has been thriving in his foster home after spending 135 days in a shelter. This 2-year-old handsome hunk with the puppy dog eyes is an absolute gem! He didn’t waste any time making himself comfortable from the first day he arrived.Thatcher loves to go for walks, rides well in the car, enjoys his time lounging in the yard and playing with his foster siblings. He is house and crate trained and even gets along with cats. We learned he has elevated kidney levels and after doing an ultrasound Thatcher has been diagnosed with renal dysplasia, where his kidneys never formed properly. The good news – with a prescription diet food along with blood pressure meds, he’s doing great! In the four months he has been with us – he is an outwardly happy, loving boy. If bloodwork had not been done, you wouldn’t know anything was going on internally. To help his new adopters adjust to Thatcher's food and medicine, we will be offering a year supply of medication and food included in his adoption fee. We are now on the hunt to find him the perfect home. If interested in giving Thatcher his forever home, fill out an application. Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization.  We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower.  If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received. ##2063859##

Story
Abe is a sweet boy who is slowly coming out of his shell. He loves walks but also likes to sleep. He is good with people, kids, dogs, and cats. Abe is becoming more comfortable with passing cars, golf carts, and stairs. He is hesitant to get in a car, so we have to lift him, but he is fine once in the car and will jump out of the car. His silliness is starting to shine through the more comfortable he becomes   If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible.
