Story
Cricket is a sweet, gentle cuddlebug with a heart full of love, especially for kids. She's incredibly patient and tolerant, even letting her foster family's two-year-old play with her however they please. Though she took some time to settle into her foster home, she's now showing her affectionate side, bonding deeply with her humans. Cricket can be a bit clingy due to her anxiety and isn't a fan of being left alone or using a crate. While she sometimes scavenges for food and has the occasional potty accident, her gentle, warm nature makes her easy to adore. Currently a low-energy couch potato due to medication, Cricket still gets excited for her walks and loves car rides. When small dog friends visited, her joy and calmness were obvious, hinting that she might thrive with another calm dog around. Cricket's ideal home would have someone home most of the time, kids she can love on, and a family willing to patiently help her continue building confidence. Health-wise, she's on track after gaining a bit of weight, and now eats well on her routine. Cricket has been through a lot but is ready to bring endless love and joy to a forever family who's ready for a loyal, snuggly companion. Story
Hi friends, I'm Franky! I'm still getting used to having a name, since not long ago I was only seen as a number. I spent the majority of my life being used as an animal testing subject and living in a tiny cage. Did you know that animal testing includes experimentation on cats and dogs, too? Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I'm loving my new life and so ready to find a forever home! I'm a silly, sweet, and incredibly loving boy. I will make the most loyal companion ever for my adopter! I love to snuggle and play and would be happy to spend all day right next to my humans! I truly am man's best friend. Oh, and dog's best friend, because I love other dogs, too! Could you adopt me and give me the life that I've always dreamed of? I would prefer a home that has: a fenced yard, other dogs, lots of love! My location: SAN ANTONIO, TX *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org.
