Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 45 lbs  Age: 8 months as of 1/15        The Rosie puppies—Rosie, Roseann and Rosemary— are adorable, friendly and sweet puppies who were left at the end of the Wags driveway in a cardboard box along with a mama cat and her kittens. Sadly in Mississippi this is all too common.       But despite their sad beginning  the Rosies thrived at Wags, playing with all the dogs and snuggling together for puppy power naps!     The Rosies just arrived in their foster home in the northeast on Saturday, January 25 and are settling in well.Rosemary is the lightest in color of the three girls. She is just the sweetest! She’s very mellow and just loves cuddles. She gets along great with other dogs and is gentle with children.Rosemary just experienced her first snowfall and had a blast romping in the snow!    Rosemary is a happy, healthy girl, she’s up-to-date on her vaccine and has been spayed. She will make a wonderful family dog.    Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. For more information on adopting any of the Rosies please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com    January 26, 2025, 4:54 pm

Story
Styx is a 3 year old 60+ pound foxhound he is neutered and UTD with Vax. He has had a rough start to his life a little underweight but he has a great appetite that he is filling out nicely! He is a happy sweet boy who like to follow his person. He has that great foxhound bark. Plays well with toys and can entertain himself. Lays near you on the couch. He will just love you! He has done great with 2 other dogs in home both male and female. He would love to find a forever home with a big yard to run around in. Watching him run is precious his long legs he looks like he is running in slow motion. It's a vision to see! Styx needs a patient parent to teach him basic command and is not fully housebroken and in time I am sure he will be great. He has it in him as he has had no accidents at night. Just with activity he needs reminded the right place to go.Styx will make the best furfriend. He deserves the LOVE. So if you love those big goofy playful dogs! This is definitely your guy!!! Styx is available for adoption after 1/28/2025   ##2284813##

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Duke - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fabulous people out there. My name is Duke and I'm looking for a home, a family...one to call my very own!! I was pulled from the local shelter where I've spent 4 out of the 6 months of my life. I've never had a family before and I keep hearing how this thing is sooooo pawsome!! And, since you're reading this could it possibly be that... YOU will be my family?!! I am a very sweet fella that enjoys all things puppy. I love exploring this big ole world, playing with the other pups here at my foster home, getting lovins from my people, playing in the water, going for walks, you know...anything puppy!! I adore my people both tall and small, I love playing with the other pups and although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, at my tender age with proper introductions, I should do great with them too. I'm about 6 months of age and come in around 20ish lbs so I should be a great mediumish size when I get myself fully growed up. That's the perfect size for sharing in ALL your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting, everything that includes us doing them together!! I've got those fabulous classic handsome good looks that will have heads turning, for sure!! Sweetness galore, adventurous and playful, I would love to be your lil lump of clay to be molded into your bestest friend. I am so ready to be that lil heartbeat at your feet so please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application. It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
"Free to a good home" is a scary phrase to see for advertising a dog. Fortunately, it was a person involved in animal rescues (cats) who saw the post and knew that the dog needed to be rescued. It's a sad story, to think he may never have been inside, but Duke is warm and safe now. Estimated to be around 7 - 8 years old, the hound mix (beagle? / Coonhound?) who came with not other information has been an excellent guest. Easy-going and accepting of new people, Duke even had his nails trimmed upon arrival without even blinking. Calm and well-mannered, Duke may be a good choice for families with kids and certainly would make a great companion for healthy senior people.
