My name is Duke and I'm looking for a home, a family...one to call our very own!! I was pulled from the local shelter where I've spent 4 out of the 5 months of my life. I've never had a family before and I keep hearing how these things they are so pawsome!! And since you're reading this could it possibly be...that YOU will be my family?!! I am a very sweet fella that enjoys all things puppy. I love exploring this big ole world, playing with the other pups here at my foster home, getting lovins from my people, playing in the water, going for walks, you know...anything puppy!! I adore my people both tall and small but I do have sharp lil teeth and nails, I love playing with the other pups and although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, at my tender age I should do great with them too. I'm about 5 months of age and come in around 20lbs so I should be a great mediumish size when I get myself fully growed up. That's the perfect size for sharing in ALL your adventures from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting, and ya know, everything is an adventure to me (hint hint!). I've got those fabulous classic handsome good looks that will have heads turning, for sure!! Sweetness galore, adventurous and playful, I would love to be your lil lump of clay to be molded into your bestest friend. **NEEDS 6 FT FENCE ** Sawyer is a 3 year old hound who is sweet as can be. He loves everyone and loves other dogs.  He would love a doggy friend to play with everyday. He has energy but will also relax and nap too. He would be a great companion for anyone and would love to explore on walks. Sawyer has recently graduated from the 12 week Puppies 4 Parole program through the Mo Department of Corrections.  He was a model student and has learned many basic commands and socialization skills. Sawyer’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. Roman is currently enrolled in the 12 week Puppies 4 Parole program through the Mo Department of Corrections.  He will graduate around March 5th and will be available for adoption at that time.  If you are interested in adopting Roman, please complete an application and the foster parent will contact you. Roman (Romy) is a 1yr. old male Bassett mix. He is full of curiosity and energy. He loves to cuddle and he even “talks” sometimes. He can be amusing at times especially when he trips over his chunky front paws. Roman is about 30-35 Ibs. He enjoys all types of squeaky toys and is learning to fetch.  He has made himself quite at home and has made friends with our dog. He doesn’t discriminate when it comes to playmates. He’s been around large and small dogs and a cat. He is learning to walk on a leash and is getting better everyday. He doesn’t require a fenced yard. He loves his chew toys but needs to have access to plenty of them or he might chew a cord or shoe. Roman is not crate trained but is housebroken. He will whine at the door when he needs to go out. Roman loves to eat and has been caught attempting to “counter surf”. All in all, Roman is a complete sweetheart and will be a happy addition to his forever home. *ADOPTION SPECIAL- REDUCED FEE $100* This is Lainey. We believe that she is a 2-year-old Coonhound. Lainey came to Judy's Forgotten Jewells on June 12th. She was brought to us by an Arkansas shelter that needed to open up space for incoming dogs. Since she has been in care, staff members say that she is a wiggly ball of energy and love! She loves attention, other dogs and wagging her tail. She is still working on leash manners and housebreaking but she seems eager to learn! The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption. In addition to their adoption fee, there is a $45 fee to cover the 6 months of heartworm prevention we will send home with each adoptee.
