You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Hello, my name is Bailey!   I'm a healthy, stunning, 4-year-old mix breed doggo: I'm 34% American Foxhound, 12% Australian Cattle Dog, 9% Boston Terrier, 9% Dachshund, and 8% Australian Shepherd. I weigh 34 pounds and have a trim, athletic build with long legs and a medium energy level. Plus, my teeth are freakishly white (thanks, foster mom!). I’m self cleaning, and only need an occasional nail trim for grooming.   I absolutely love cuddling and sleeping in bed, but I’m also perfectly content in my crate. I’m skilled at using a doggy door and even enjoy a good workout on the treadmill! I thrive at the dog park, where I love to run around and play with my furry friends. While I warm up quickly to new “dog” people, I have a protective side, and will bark ferociously if I feel the need to keep you safe, or if the new stranger ignores me.   I’m looking for my forever home, and if you choose me, I promise to bring lots of smiles, love, and companionship into your life.   If you think Bailey sounds like your next best friend, please apply today! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Bones is a very sweet and energetic young fellow! He looks to be a foxhound mix, and he is around a year old and about 36 lbs. He is very lean, fine-boned and slight in stature. He is good with other dogs and would make a wonderful pet for an active family. Bones came to us as a transfer from a shelter in Florida during hurricane evacuation, and he's sure glad to be in MN! Bones is a typical silly goofball Hound who exudes sweetness and innocence, a love for adventure and play but can snuggle down too! (He is very versatile).   Hound lovers out there attention! I'm Bloom, a lovable foxhound with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging. House Trained and Low Maintenance: I'm potty trained and can hang out in the house without needing a crate. I'm a good girl and just love to relax on the couch or curl up next to you for some Netflix time. Toys and games are fun, especially a good game of tug! Playful Explorer: I adore running around in fenced-in areas where I can sniff and explore to my heart's content. It's pure joy to see me running free! Great with Kids and Dogs: I'm good with kids and used to having little ones around. I get along best with other dogs smaller than me.. I'm currently best friends with a Saint Bernard, but I can be selective with larger dogs. I can also get a bit jealous when other dogs are playing, so I'd be happiest with one other dog or as the only pup in the home. Feline Friendly: I've done well with dog-savvy cats but would need to avoid homes with cats that aren't used to dogs. Unique Reactions: I'm a very expressive girl and react to new people, other dogs, and passing cars with my enthusiastic hound bark. When going on walks I will pull on the leash when something catches my attention, so I'll thrive in a home with a strong handler and a tall (6ft) privacy fence or private land where I can feel secure and happy. Special Support: I'm on medication, which helps me stay calm and relaxed. I'll need a family who's comfortable with giving this medication (I love treats so they are a great hiding place for pills).
