WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. My name is Callie, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At around a year and a half and about 45lbs, I'm a pawsomely perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department it makes me more of a wash-n-go type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you do know that's what it is all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunningly gorgeous looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Bones is a very sweet and humble guy. We think he is a "Fox Hound" and is about 1 year old and about 36 lbs. He is fine boned and "slight" in stature. He is good with other dog and would make a wonderful family pet. Bones needs  a foster home to come to rescue. Could you be his savior? He is stuck in a pound in Florida in the path of a hurricane and can hitch a ride to MN in October. We just need a foster home for him. We also consider "Foster to adopt." I am available for adoption under a Foster to Adopt agreement. This means that my adopter would act as my foster for a period of up to 30 days before finalizing the adoption. Hi there! I'm Bloom, a lovable foxhound with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging. House Trained and Low Maintenance: I'm potty trained and can hang out in the house without needing a crate. I'm a good girl and just love to relax on the couch or curl up next to you for some Netflix time. Toys and games are fun, especially a good game of tug! Playful Explorer: I adore running around in fenced-in areas where I can sniff and explore to my heart's content. It's pure joy to see me running free! Great with Kids and Dogs: I'm good with kids and used to having little ones around. I get along best with other dogs smaller than me.. I'm currently best friends with a Saint Bernard, but I can be selective with larger dogs. I can also get a bit jealous when other dogs are playing, so I'd be happiest with one other dog or as the only pup in the home. Feline Friendly: I've done well with dog-savvy cats but would need to avoid homes with cats that aren't used to dogs. Unique Reactions: I'm a very expressive girl and react to new people, other dogs, and passing cars with my enthusiastic hound bark. When going on walks I will pull on the leash when something catches my attention, so I'll thrive in a home with a strong handler and a tall (6ft) privacy fence or private land where I can feel secure and happy. Special Support: I'm on medication, which helps me stay calm and relaxed. I'll need a family who's comfortable with giving this medication (I love treats so they are a great hiding place for pills).
