Story
June and Johnny are siblings, they are very sweet together, however they do not need to be adopted together. June is 35 pounds and Johnny is 45 pounds, about 1 yr old, tricolor with a short coat. They are adorable Small-medium-sized Foxhounds! June has a more outgoing personality, Johnny is more reserved and lets her be the boss ! They are quiet hounds!! They keep each other entertained, and play well together. They are very doggie, cat and people social. Just great pups for a family with a fenced in yard so they can run and play, and be tired when they come back inside. They are curious, smart and love to chew on their soup bones. They are cute, lovable, very sweet, affectionate, active and playful. They are shy with new situations, but quickly get the hang of things. They are currently working on good leash manners and are quick learners. They will do well in a basic puppy training class. They are fully vetted, microchipped, taking heartworm/flea/tick preventatives, and ready for their new home. Available for transport from Virginia anytime. Story
Hi! I'm Tootie, a 1.5-year-old female hound mix. I'm about 43 pounds and am up to date on all my vaccinations. I am playful and affectionate. I love giving kisses to everyone I meet! I'm great with dogs and love going to the dog park and daycare. I'd love to have another dog to play with me in my new house, but would be fine alone as long as you're around to play with me. My previous family loved me very much, but unfortunately I didn't get along well with their kitten. As a hound, I'm very prey-driven and like to chase cats and small animals. They're heartbroken to see me go but know I deserve a home where I can be my happy-go-lucky self! I hope it won't be long before I find my forever family. I'm available through Kitty Connection in Medford.

Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 33 lbs  Age: 5 months as of 10/15   The Rosie puppies—Rosie, Roseann and Rosemary— are adorable, friendly and sweet puppies who were left at the end of the Wags driveway in a cardboard box along with a mama cat and her kittens. Sadly in Mississippi this is all too common.   But despite their sad beginning  the Rosies are happy and thriving. They are mixes, but appear to have some English foxhound, and perhaps black mouth cur in them, just perfect for a family dog. They couldn’t be sweeter and are very mellow. They are full of kisses and wiggles and love to romp and play and then snuggle together for a puppy nap.  The Rosie puppies have had vaccinations, but will be spayed when they are older. Wags will pay for the procedure at one of the clinics that we use in the northeast or reimburse adopters what we pay if they choose to use their own vet. The puppies are doing well house training, but they need a refresher when they adjust to a new home. We are adopting them individuall—, while they do adore each other they will adjust in a loving home        Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. For more information on adopting any of the Rosies please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com    October 24, 2024, 11:01 am
