Story
Hello, my name is Terra. I am a precious girl, sweet as a sugar, but as playful as can be. I am always happy to see you. I am loving life. My new family has to like a girl with a lot of energy. My new family I would like to hike, go to the beach, go camping, and love to play in the backyard. But more importantly, treat me like family and not something to throw into the backyard and forget. My original family kept me tied up with little water and even a smaller amount of shade. The lady who rescued me along with my friends Jasper and Osa knew I did not have any chance of surviving. So, like she has with so many human parents, go up and demand I am released. Not just because it was right, but because she knew it would be saving my life.Happily, 2 years ago I was surrendered to my rescuerer's rescue. Today everything is forgotten. But for sure, I want my own family. It does not matter if they have a fur sibling for me or not. I will bring so much joy and many hours of happiness. Please request an application, place a deposit to start my journey home. Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 33 lbs  Age: 5 months as of 10/15       The Rosie puppies—Rosie, Roseann and Rosemary— are adorable, friendly and sweet puppies who were left at the end of the Wags driveway in a cardboard box along with a mama cat and her kittens. Sadly in Mississippi this is all too common.       But despite their sad beginning  the Rosies are happy and thriving. They are mixes, but appear to have some English foxhound, and perhaps black mouth cur in them, just perfect for a medium size family dog. They couldn’t be sweeter and are very mellow. They are full of kisses and wiggles and love to romp and play and then snuggle together for a puppy nap.    The  Rosie puppies have had vaccinations, but will be spayed when they are older. Wags will pay for the procedure at one of the clinics that we use in the northeast or reimburse adopters what we pay if they choose to use their own vet. The puppies are doing well house training, but they need a refresher when they adjust to a new home. We are adopting them individuals , while they do adore each other they will adjust apart  in a loving home.        Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. For more information on adopting any of the Rosies please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com    November 8, 2024, 7:52 am

Story
Meet Bob! Bob came to us on a recent transport and his history is a mystery. We are still getting to know him, but he is an active guy who could go to a home with another dog. If you think Bob could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Cape Cod Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 1pm-4pm – no appointment or application needed. *Please note that Bob may still be waiting on his neuter surgery, and might not be able to leave same day*Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
