This is Poppy. She is a pretty, happy hound who is sweet and fun. Thisgirl is quite an athlete. Just look at those long legs! Poppy would be aperfect walking companion because she loves her long sniffy walks. Shealso walks well with other dogs. However, when playing with other dogs shecan be a bit pushy. Any dog she lives with would need to be tolerant. Shecould possibly live with a cat using slow integration. And children bigenough to handle a bouncy dog and who could help with training wouldprobably work. Here at the shelter, pretty Poppy is working hard on hermanners and house training. She is hoping her adopters will continue thistraining. Would you like to meet this fun girl? Come see Poppy at theMSPCA in Methuen on Tuesdays through Sundays from 12PM to 4:30PM.

This boy has the most beautiful bright, brilliant eyes and playful personality. He is the most appreciative house, pup ever! It didn’t take long before he found his way to sneak into bed with me. He does great with kids, cats and dogs. He does not bark at night, which is a very pleasant surprise. He has a bright and bubbly personality. Barney is about 40 lbs. Barney will make a wonderful house pup. He is house trained and has no issues at all. Barney is currently in foster care with Ozark Homeward Bound animal rescue in Harrison Arkansas. Do not let distance be a deterrent. There is a Facebook page where you can see videos of him to get to know him. Hi! I'm Tootie, a 1.5-year-old female hound mix. I'm about 43 pounds and am up to date on all my vaccinations. I am playful and affectionate. I love giving kisses to everyone I meet! I'm great with dogs and love going to the dog park and daycare. I'd love to have another dog to play with me in my new house, but would be fine alone as long as you're around to play with me. My previous family loved me very much, but unfortunately I didn't get along well with their kitten. As a hound, I'm very prey-driven and like to chase cats and small animals. They're heartbroken to see me go but know I deserve a home where I can be my happy-go-lucky self! I hope it won't be long before I find my forever family. I'm available through Kitty Connection in Medford.
