Story
I have to rehome my Foxhound Mix. He is approximately 60lbs and fully grown. Now 2 years old. He is a sweet boy who loves to run. He does great with kids, and cats and loves other dogs. Unfortunately, I am selling my house next month and need to find him a home ASAP. I cannot take him where I am going as they only allow 1 dog. My other dog is 12 years old and would be put to sleep if she were to be put up for adoption. He is house-trained, crate-trained, up-to-date on all shots, and neutered. Please be kind as this is already hard enough. Selling my home was not part of my plan but I can no longer afford it.

Story
Timber has been a good friend, but his family has moved from the big house in the country to a small city place. He is a shelter rescue, been with us for about 8 years, his age is estimated 9-9.5 years. He is starting to show his age, but still has moments with lots of pep. He may have been a "failed" hunting dog, but he keeps our little yard under patrol. Timber is vocal, but has learned when to quiet down when asked with a firm tone. If you want a good yard alert friend, he is your man. He does not dig, but his long clawed feet do pick up mud. He stays very clean, and shedding is minimal if he is brushed often. He is a beauty. He has a "sister" dog that he tolerates, but I'm sure he would be happy solo also. When he meets another dog, he does get excited, but has never been aggressive. I am a single mom; I haven't been able to invest the time to consistently socialize Timber outside. Timber deserves space and attention to enjoy his life. He is very loved, we want the best for him.
