Story
Daisy is a 7-year-old Foxhound with a heart as big as her 70-pound frame. She and her brother, Buddy, found themselves needing a new home after the passing of their beloved dad and their mom's realization that she could no longer care for them. While the decision was difficult, Daisy's mom ensured these sweet hounds would be cared for and loved. In her foster home, Daisy has proven to be the perfect houseguest. House-trained and impeccably well-mannered, she doesn’t need a crate and prefers the comfort of a cozy dog bed or, even better, the couch—earning her the affectionate nickname “couch princess.” While she adores lounging indoors, Daisy also loves the great outdoors. A fenced yard isn’t a requirement, but it would be a dream for her to sniff and explore at her leisure. Daisy has a knack for winning hearts, greeting both humans and dogs with friendliness and warmth. Though she hasn’t met kids yet, her sweet and adaptable nature suggests she would fit beautifully into any family dynamic. She enjoys toys, walks, car rides, and being near her people—though she’s not clingy and is happy to relax in the same room. Her foster parents describe her as friendly, confident, adaptable, and loyal. She quickly adjusted to her foster home, and her personality shines with a mix of sweetness and a fun, sassy streak. Daisy loves attention, happily accepting hugs and kisses, and she knows a few tricks, including "sit" and catching treats. She’s also quite the foodie, sampling fruits and veggies alongside her treats. Daisy would thrive as either the star of her household or as a companion to other dogs. She’s not destructive, has never had an accident indoors, and is an exceptional, easygoing girl who’s ready to bring her charm, loyalty, and love to her forever family. If you’re looking for a wonderful companion, Daisy is the total package. If Daisy sounds like a good fit, apply today!
