Story
Our handsome Fabio is that exceptional, all around family dog, that is rare in rescue. He loves everybody and has not flinched at all during a rescue process that leaves lesser dogs rattled.  We've been trying to piece together Fabio’s backstory, but there's not much to go on. He was found as a country stray, by Animal Control Officers in Charlotte County, North Carolina. Vets say that he is a two year old adult dog.  When no worried owner came forward to collect Fabio, he was transferred to our Connecticut Rescue so that we could script the next chapter of his life.  Throughout the chaotic rescue process, Fabio has been an absolute charmer. He is so full of life, love and personality. He is a gentle, sweet boy who loves everyone. Fabio still has a bit of the puppy Mojo going on, but he is easily exercised with a few daily leash walks. He is a super dog that would do well in any type of environment. Fabio needs a fair amount of exercise and focused playtime so that he does not become bored and get into mischief. He would benefit greatly from ongoing obedience training, which is helpful in providing additional mental stimulation. He is learning his commands, although he can become distracted easily, but he is treat motivated. He responds well to Positive Reinforcement and Leadership techniques, and seems to enjoy his training sessions. He seems to be a confident boy, ready and willing to work. Fabio has good house manners, and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home. He has been neutered, and has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. If you are interested in Fabio, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call or text Denise at 860-908- 9738 for more info.

Story
Phoenix is an American Foxhound mix who is ready to find his forever home. He is just under a year old. This playful and smart pup is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly preventatives—he’s all set to start his next adventure! Phoenix adores his people and is a big fan of fun. He’s great with other dogs, and his favorite activities include running, chasing, and playing to his heart’s content. He’s been around cats and, while he’d love to play with them, he’s respectful of their boundaries. Phoenix is potty trained and crate trained. His energy is high, but he also knows how to relax and unwind when it's time to settle down. He’s continuing to improve his leash skills and manners, making great progress every day. We think Phoenix would make an amazing family dog, as he’s likely to thrive with kids who can match his playful energy. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and active companion, Phoenix might be the perfect fit for you. Don’t wait—this awesome pup is ready to light up your life! Story
Meet Daisy, a very sweet, young girl looking for a new start. She was dumped in rural central Arkansas, and has lived outdoors ever since. Assumed from her very shy disposition, she was probably abused. Now she is slow to trust, especially with men, but is preciously sweet once you earn it. She is immediately warm with children, and likes to play with the local kids. Daisy also gets along well with other dogs, but not so much with cats--she likes to chase them. Daisy is well suited for a family with children and dogs, and a yard in a peaceful setting. She is just waiting to meet you - submit an application to arrange a visitation!
