Story
There is no denying the beauty this little guy can bring to your life and world. Just the sweetest disposition and temperament. A little timid at first but his foster mom is working on that as well as lots of attention and teaching him socialization skills and everything needed to be a super family companion. Jack loves to play with the other dogs and gets along fine with everyone he meets. He is fostering in a foster home close to Memphis, TN with other dogs and kids and lots of people in and out. Once adopted, he will travel on Rescue Vet Transport to his new forever family. They travel to the Midwest once, sometimes twice a month and to the north east each and every weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday morning, and delivering as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. If you would like to make him a part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. Keep in mind Transport is an additional $185. Additionally, our Volunteer team is very responsive , so please refrain from submitting your application until you're prepared to welcome your new furry friend. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Hi there friends! My name is Mac, and I`m a big, energetic, fluff-ball looking for a family to call my own. I`m very sweet and friendly with people. I know some basic commands and will happily do them if it means more treats. Have I mentioned I really love treats? Well, I do - so I try to snatch them quickly before you change your mind. I`m sure I can learn some better manners with a little positive reinforcement training - plus I`m smart and I`m ready to learn new things! I would really love to find a canine pal to play with, but it should be one who can match my exuberance for life! I hope my new adopters are also active, energetic people who have the time and the patience to give me lots of physical and mental enrichment. I just have such a joy for life and I want to share that with my new family! Could it be you? Medical History: I appear to be a healthy adult dog at this time, but it`s always a good idea to get me into a vet soon after adoption so I can meet my new doctor! Weight: 51.6 lbsAdoption Fee: $375 + TaxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

Story
Meet Mazzy! Hey everybody, my name is Mazzy, and I'm the most special gal! I'm a young adult now, and I've found myself looking for my forever home. You might notice that I have a lot of extra skin, and that makes me extra beautiful! It also might add a pound or two to my 47-pound frame because pictures make me look a little lighter than I actually am. Let me tell you, that extra skin can tear a little bit easier than a normal dog's skin because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, but it doesn't affect my joints one bit, so I don’t have to take any meds for it. I just need to make sure I don't play too rough with my fur friends, that's all! I get along well with other dogs of all sizes, but the calmer, the better, so they don't jump on me or scratch me. I do really well with all the humans I've met, but men are more scary to me, so they just need to be patient with me and show me they're safe. I do fabulously with children of all ages, and really enjoy being around them! I'm a bit timid, but I will also alert you to any strange noises I hear or of new people coming into the home, so I might not do super great with living in an apartment building where there might be a lot of extra noise. I go potty outside, and I really enjoy going on walks, and I do quite well, though why do some of those trucks need to be so big and loud? I'm not sure how well I would do with kitties since I think it's fun to chase squirrels and bunnies in the yard! Foster mom says I would really benefit from some training as I'm still a young lady, and I'm so, so smart! I've never really been taught some of the basic things in life, so having someone to take the time to show me how to be a proper lady would be so great for me! I'm really good at taking a toy and keeping myself occupied! I promise to make you laugh with my silly antics and zoomies I get. Now I'm ready for my ride or die bestie to go hiking by day and snuggling by night with! I sure how you see how perfect I am! *Mazzy is being fostered in Edgerton, WI. Story
Meet Dolly! Age: Adult Breed: Lab mix Weight: 60 lbs Good with: Kids, dogs, cats House trained: Almost! Crate trained: No, but not needed Special needs: Epilepsy Dolly is a sweet and lovable adult BREED pup who just loves to be with her people. In addition to adults, Dolly loves kids, dogs, and cats. In her foster home, she thinks the horse is pretty neat but is unsure of those not-dogs with spears on their heads (we call them goats, Dolly) This affectionate pup loves to play with the family and pets in her foster home, but is happiest when she’s cuddling. Dolly has really blossomed in her foster home, becoming playful and learning the joys of being a treasured pet. While Dolly is learning about how great it is to be an Albert’s dog, she certainly had a rough start in life. Dolly was bounced around quite a bit and is looking for some consistency in her life to continue to improve her house manners and potty skills. She is a quick learner and eager to please (plus very food motivated)!, so additional training sessions would only continue to build her confidence. Dolly is considered a special needs pup due to her epilepsy, though this is very well managed with pills she takes twice a day and does not affect her quality of life (of dampen her mood). Dolly is just a happy love bug. She walks well on leash and has excellent recall. She has a great energy level, always up to walk or play, but happy to cuddle. Don’t try to tell her she isn’t a lap dog, she just won’t believe you 🙂 She loves to snuggle up to her fosters at night and is certainly dreaming of a home of her own. She’s been waiting for her forever family to find her, could that be you? Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs.
