River is a Lab/Heeler mix, she turns 4 in December of this year. I adopted her at 14 weeks old. She has separation anxiety and will chew things, if left outside of her kennel alone for too long. She has been hiking, backpacking, and loves playing catch. She is a very active dog when outside, when inside she will play on her own or lay down. River knows tricks such as sit, wait, leave it, center, shake, high five, and to walk. She loves cats and small dogs, but is terrified and reactive to big dogs due to a big dog attempting to attack us when she was a puppy. She also loves kids, has been around babies and toddlers, as well as older kids. She loves cuddling and drools a lot during car rides. She has an indestructible kennel as any other kennel she found her way out of. As well as a container of food, toys, a dog bed, leashes, harnesses, boots, bow ties, grooming stuff, dog bags. She’s a goofy, loving, and very intelligent dog.

I adopted this pet in August 2024. She is now 5 months old and growing quickly. I am looking for an adopter who has a backyard where she can exercise, as she needs more space to play and stay active. She has a wonderful temperament, a great listener and a quick learner. So far, she has mastered basic commands like sit, down, and break. She is very responsive to training and has been a joy to teach. Unfortunately, since I have moved to an apartment, I can no longer provide her with the space she needs to thrive. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast.
