Story
Wednesday is a 5 year old, 38 lb Flat-Coated Retriever mix. She is not only gorgeous, but she has a sweet, friendly nature. Wednesday loves to play with her stuffed toys and run around the backyard chasing squirrels and birds. She also appreciates cuddle time and belly rubs. She gets along just fine with the resident dogs in her foster home, but she would also be fine as an only dog. She has shown no interest in the cat. She is crate and housetrained and generally well behaved. We think she is gentle enough for kids of all ages. Wednesday has heartworms because she was not kept on heartworm prevention. Humane Tomorrow will pay for her treatment with our partner vet. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Hello my name is Cutie!! I am a lab mix, about 2-3 years old, and 42 lbs. And my name describes me to a T!! At least that's what my foster mom says. She calls me Q.T., Cutie, and Cutie Patootie just to name a few. She also says if you aren’t serious in letting me live with you forever please skip my adoption page. She’s not going to let me go to just anyone. This is also a few other things she says about me besides being cute....I LOVE to snuggle and play! I’m full of energy (they say Im a two and a half) so I would really like a family with older kids and a family who is active. I love to run and go for walks. I can also jump really high so my foster mom thinks I would be really good playing catch frisbee. I also love to play catch and bring it back but I enjoy playing tug of war with what we are playing catch with. So I need to work on the release part. Snuggles are also my favorite. I can’t get close enough to my foster mom sometimes. But after I settle down I can lay in her lap for hours. I know some commands. “Sit” is a super easy one for me I’m really good at “going to my room” when asked to. It’s my kennel. I sleep there at night and stay there when my foster mom goes to work. Since I am still a toddler I will chew on somethings but I have never been supper destructive. My foster mom leaves her shoes everywhere and I haven’t once in 4 months bothered her shoes. I really just stick mostly to my toys. A few socks here and there. And a occasional hair tie. I love to be outside. My foster mom will call me to come in and I sometimes just stare at her because I am sun bathing and not ready to come in. But if she turns around to go in and starts to shut the door I come running. I also LOVE my furry foster brother!!! He is my best friend. My foster mom thinks I may be dog selective. She’s only introduced me to my foster brother and my foster aunts dog and I wasn’t too much of a fan of that dog. My foster mom thinks its her fault because she introduced us to fast. But the way that I love my Foster brother surely I will make a new best friend wherever I go. So thats me, CUTIE. If you want to meet me please let me know. I sure would love a forever home. Story
Vino is a mellow guy, once he has been given time to trust. Vino is a bit nervous around people right at first, men especially. He nipped his Foster’s husband’s hand when they first got him, but has gotten much better now. He doesn’t like quick movements. Vino’s foster says he is very loving and sweet, walks well and doesn’t need to be on leash. Though he is on one most of the time. He minds very well. Vino will stay close if he gets too far, she calls him and he comes right back. Vino also loves chew toys and likes to chase balls and sticks. Vino age is estimated at about 5 years. He is not high energy except when he sees his person come home, he gets excited, but calms down. He is affectionate and would love to just be petted non stop! No young children. Older more mature kids or teens if they understand d his dislike for sudden movements. Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/222794202574154November 5, 2024, 4:08 pm

Story
Pappy is an older male, maybe about 8 yrs old He is friendly with all people pretty mellow. He loves to chew on toys. Loves to walk , eats well, gets along with Vino (foster sibling). Foster has cats and chickens, but he doesn’t seem interested in them, although he has always been on leash. Pappy may have some hearing issue or selective hearing. He often ignores his foster. He knows no commands and has no obvious desire to learn any. Pappy is affectionate and would just love to be petted all the time. November 5, 2024, 4:08 pm
