Cleo was picked up as a stray and not claimed. She is nervous at first and does seek comfort in who she knows. Once she is comfortable, she is a love bug that enjoys scratches, and she does think she is the perfect size for a lap. Cleo is not potty trained and can make quite the mess if she's left alone too long. She does good in a crate but will break out if left in there for too long. Her foster stated she did not tear anything up while out of her crate, but did use the bathroom while they were away. Cleo is dog friendly, but we always recommend a meet and greet with any current household dog(s). While at a foster's home she would not defend her food if the other dog went to eat it, so she may need to be fed separately so she can eat. Cleo sniffed at the kittens in the cat room and continued on her way so she may be cat friendly. She does pull a little when first on the leash, but once she is settled she does good. She loves to bark when not receiving any attention. She doesn't particularly like being groomed. Cleo is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. ECHS does not reserve adoptable animals for the public. Adoptions are first come first serve the day of availability. Please note that availability is subject to change at any point in time per ECHS discretion.

Story
Kimber was found with her sister Kentucky and they were not reclaimed. They were both a little skittish with humans at first, but have warmed up a lot since coming in. She is not potty trained. She does okay on a leash. Previous fosters stated she warmed up to them pretty quickly once she was out of the shelter. She loves to cuddle. While she tolerates her sister, Kimber is not dog friendly and will need to be the only dog in the home. She did good while at a dog park but gets too protective over her people when in her own space. She also resource guards her food. We do not know how she is with cats or livestock. She loves treats, pets, and toys. Kimber is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Kentucky was found with her sister Kimber and they were not reclaimed. They were both a little skittish with humans at first, but have warmed up a lot since coming in. While she has been around her sister, we are unsure of how she would be with other dogs so a meet and greet would be recommended if going into a multiple dog household. We do not know how she is with cats or livestock. She loves toys. Kentucky is spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.
