Cleo was picked up as a stray and not claimed. She is nervous at first and does seek comfort in who she knows. Once she is comfortable, she is a love bug that enjoys scratches, and she does think she is the perfect size for a lap. Cleo does not seem to be potty trained and can make quite the mess if she's left alone too long. Cleo is dog friendly, but we always recommend a meet and greet with any current pets. We always highly recommend a meet and greet with any household dog. Cleo sniffed at the kittens in the cat room and continued on her way so she may be cat friendly. She does pull a little when first on the leash. She loves to bark when not receiving any attention. She does do good in a crate. Cleo is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. ECHS does not reserve adoptable animals for the public. Adoptions are first come first serve the day of availability. Please note that availability is subject to change at any point in time per ECHS discretion.

Xavier was picked up at the City Park here in Stephenville and was never reclaimed. He is a very nervous boy but does like receiving attention. While walking on a leash, he does not like going through doorways or kennel doors but does fine once past them. He does need some assistance to get into crates but has done fine once in them. He does try to squeeze past us when we open a kennel or crate door, so he will probably bolt if given the chance. He does shake his head a lot however we have not noticed anything wrong with his ears. He does fine with our shelter dogs, but a meet and greet is always highly recommended with any current household dogs. He likes to stay at your feet when he is outside and is a very patient dog. He does know "sit" and partially "lay". Xavier is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, heartworm negative and on prevention. All adoptions are first come first serve the day of availability. ECHS does not reserve adoptable animals for the public. Please note that availability is subject to change at any point in time per ECHS discretion.
