Ryder is a male possible Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie mix (his mother is adoptable as well, Precious) and has just turned a year old (November 2024) and has been with us since December 2023. Ryder has been transferred to a local rescue where he is being fostered. He is flourishing in rescue! Ryder is doing great with socialization and not being so shy. He has learned how to walk on a leash and is crate trained. He gets along great with other dogs, but is a "follower" dog and would do best with another dog in the home that can teach him to let loose and have fun, but this is not a requirement. He recently met a volunteer's cat and had no reaction to her. He was professionally groomed and did great! Ryder is a quiet boy and lonely since his brother was adopted in July. He would love to snuggle with you on the couch and be loved. Nearly his entire life has been homeless in a shelter or rescue. Ryder’s adoption fee is $100 and he is neutered, vaccinated, and wormed. Precious is a female, possible Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie, and is around 2 years old. She came into our shelter from a neglect case. This sweet girl is quiet and shy and just wants to be loved. She gets along with other dogs and loves people. Precious comes out of her shell more and more each day and she is an absolutely beautiful dog; she is very quiet and calm. She walks well on a leash. As with all of our dogs, please bring your children and/or dogs with you to meet Precious prior to adoption. Precious' adoption fee is $80 and she is spayed, vaccinated, and wormed. Wednesday is a 5 year old, 38 lb Flat-Coated Retriever mix. She is not only gorgeous, but she has a sweet, friendly nature. Wednesday loves to play with her stuffed toys and run around the backyard chasing squirrels and birds. She also appreciates cuddle time and belly rubs. She gets along just fine with the resident dogs in her foster home, but she would also be fine as an only dog. She has shown no interest in the cat. She is crate and housetrained and generally well behaved. We think she is gentle enough for kids of all ages. Wednesday has heartworms because she was not kept on heartworm prevention. Humane Tomorrow will pay for her treatment with our partner vet. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Stanley is a Labrador Retriever and he was picked up by a police officer and put into the Animal Shelter of Sherman TX. His past is unknown and we adopted him September seventh of this year. we have had him for a little under two months, and he has shown signs of wanting to be somewhere else and none of us at the house have time to play or just be with him for an extended amount of time we try playing with him and taking him on walks when we can but thats not enough for this puppy and we feel like putting him with the right people is the right option. he is really caring and loving and has a lot of energy to be playing with him for hours on end. he likes belly rubs and like squeaky toys

Koda is a good boy who needs a family that has time and the financial ability to take good care of him. He is house trained to not go potty in the house, however he does need to be trained. He is anxious when out and people are sleeping or away so he digs in the trash and tears things up. We love him but our tiny apartment isn’t good for him as he has A LOT of energy and we don’t make enough money to train him or get him fixed. He hasn’t been around dogs, cats, or kids very often but he does NOT show aggression, but has shown interest in them when he has been around kids, cats, and dogs in short spans of time. He has a skin problem that I’ve chalked up to allergies but I’m unsure. He gets super itchy and has resulted in pulling out a lot of his fur which also could be a result of his anxiety. We got him from a previous Ex who abandoned him and left him with us. He deserves better so please adopt this sweet energetic boy who just loves attention.
