Story
Cole is a very handsome 1 year old, 60 pound flat-coat retriever mix (our best guess!)   He is thriving in his foster home—soaking up the company of friendly resident dogs and all the love from his doting foster parents. He’s a happy, friendly, well-rounded guy with a wonderful temperament. Cole is ready for his next chapter—one filled with safety, love, and a forever family of his own. He would be happiest in a home with another friendly confident dog, a home with fenced yard and owner home more than not.    To meet Cole in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. Must have a secure fence if in a house. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##2573318##

Sooner is currently undergoing intake medical to ready him for adoption. He will be ready to begin meeting in just a couple weeks. This boy is handsome, goofy, loves other dogs and is looking for someone to teach him about the good life and world around us as he has had limited experience getting to be all the best things we love about these breeds.  Check back for updates to his bio and available date.  retrieveafriend.org/adoptVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:46 pm

Story
Meet Elordi: A Snuggle Specialist in a Gorgeous Brindle JacketAt just 5–6 months old, Elordi has already lived through more than any puppy should. She was dumped at a construction site with her two sisters, which is frankly a terrible way to treat a baby this cute. But Elordi has chosen not to dwell. She is focused on softer things now. Blankets. Cuddles. Human laps. Emotional healing via snuggling. This sweet girl is a little shy at first, like someone who arrives at the party, quietly scopes out the vibe, and then decides to become permanently attached to the nicest person in the room. Once she feels safe, Elordi is all in — leaning in for love, curling up close, and reminding you that trust is a very beautiful thing. She also loves hanging with the kids at the party. And can we talk about the coat? Because Elordi did not show up looking like every other puppy. She’s rocking a gorgeous long coat with subtle brindle coloring, like she was personally styled by nature and told to keep it understated. Effortlessly pretty. No notes.Elordi is soft, snuggly, and sweeter than she has any right to be after the start she had. She’s the kind of puppy who doesn’t need to be the loudest in the room to steal your heart. She’ll just quietly climb into it... and probably into your lap too. Adopt Elordi — because some girls are born for drama, and some are born for cuddles in a fabulous brindle fur coat.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Bree! Bree is an estimated 7–8 month old retriever mix with a petite frame and the sweetest spirit. She was found dumped at a construction site with her two sisters, but this resilient girl hasn’t let that rough start dull her shine.Bree has a beautiful short coat with faint brindle markings and an expressive face that’s impossible not to fall in love with. She’s dog friendly, appears to be house trained, and is highly food motivated, which makes training a breeze. Like most pups her age, she still has some playful puppy energy and is currently learning her leash manners. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but she’s eager to learn, loves attention, and is ready to trade construction dust for a cozy home and a family of her own.Bree is ready to build her forever life with you.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Hi there, my name is Clover! I am a 4-month-old female Lab mix that weighs 18 lbs. as of 03/17/26. I was recently surrendered to the Rockwall Adoption Center with my siblings when my family could no longer care for me, and now I am searching for a loving forever family to call my own. I'm still a young puppy, which means I have lots of love to give and plenty of learning ahead of me! The staff at RAC believe I will grow to be around 50&#194&#15060 lbs when fully grown. Like most puppies, I will need a family that is ready for the fun and responsibility that comes with raising a puppy. This includes patience with potty training, continued socialization, learning basic commands, regular playtime, and plenty of exercise and structure as I grow. Puppies also explore the world with their mouths, so chew toys, guidance, and consistent training will help me grow into a well-mannered adult dog. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, and current on my rabies vaccine, 1st DHLPP booster vaccine, 1st Bordetella vaccine, and 1st dewormer. If you're ready to welcome a sweet puppy into your home and help me grow into the best dog I can be, I would love to meet you! If you are interested in meeting or adopting me, please submit an adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
