Story
It is 2/1/2025 and I live in Charleston, SC. I can't figure out how to update that info. Lucio is an amazing dog with a ton of energy. He's very eager to please and easy to train. He is 6 years old. I want to find a home for him where there are already 1 or 2 active dogs for him to play with. Or, if you are very active and love to run or go to the dog park every day, that would be excellent for him. He really needs a ton of stimulation to be happy and unfortunately I am no longer able to give him all the activity he needs. He knows a lot of tricks / commands: Take out your toy / tidy up (putting toy back in toy box) Come Stay Roll over Play dead (bang!) Crawl Run around something (such as a table or tree) Sit Shake (as in "give me your paw") Spin / Reverse (spin the other way) Up Jump up on something Get down Go lie down on your bed Get in the crate

Story
Red is a Yellow Lab mix. We rescued him a little over 11 years ago. He is a sweet dog but has territorial aggression that has not gotten better with age. We have learned to take an abundance of caution and safeguards to prevent him from getting out, but occasionally he does escape, sometimes to disastrous results. Because of this, we fear that things will not end well for Red. The irony is that Red is a sweet dog and plays well with other dogs in a neutral setting, such as dog daycare. We live in an urban area and are getting up in years. Because of these considerations, we no longer feel that we are the best home for Red.
