The most adorable cutie—that’s Cali! Meet Cali, a 4.5-month-old Flat Coated Retriever/Black Labrador Retriever mix who is ready to give you all her puppy cuddles. Cali was rescued from Barnwell, South Carolina and currently weighs 25 pounds. The perfect home for Cali is with another dog, to show her the ropes.
Cali is such a sweetheart, and her bubbly personality shines in all she does. She acts a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly. She is a happy girl who adores spending time with her friends, both human and doggy. She loves other dogs and does great with them, soaking in all the puppy playtime she can when they are around. Because of her initially reserved nature, it is imperative that she go home with another dog, to help her true personality shine.
Cali is a fast learner who is food and treat motivated—she’d make all A’s in puppy school. She’’s sure to be the “teacher’s pet!”
Cali would love to join any size family with other pets and kids or a single-human household where she can be the center of your world! Cali is sure to make the best little friend for life, and she hopes you’ll come meet her soon. She’ll be waiting for you!
Cali is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
