Meet Trina, a 10-month-old Flat Coated Retriever and Shepherd mix. She now weighs around 31 pounds, but we expect her to mature to around 50 pounds. She sports a medium-length black, grey, and white coat. Trina is the perfect family dog as she's very calm and loves to follow you around as she waits for pets. Trina also does great with other dogs! What a sweet temperament she has! Adopt Trina and let her fill your home and heart! (ME, 12/8/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Leona is between 1–2 years old and weighs 63 pounds. She has a playful puppy spirit, but is also calm and an easy companion. She is good with other dogs, cats, and children. Leona loves to play fetch and snuggle up on a soft dog bed, the floor, or on the couch with you.With her silky black coat and feathered tail, she may be a flat-coated retriever. Leona is crate trained abd housebroken. Like a typical puppy, she still needs supervision and might chew on items if left unattended.Leona has made an incredible recovery from a severe case of pneumonia and is now healthy and thriving. Meet Bicardi! Bicardi is a 6 year old, flat coated Retreiver. He is the sweetest dog we've ever met. Loves absolutely everyone, and just wants cuddles and kisses. He is perfectly toilet trained and has yet to bark in his foster home. He is calm in the big city and perfectly fine sleeping all day while his foster works. He is a high energy dog and can walk for hours in a day without getting tired! He's calm with kids, men, other pets, loud noises, doorbells - this dog seems basically impossible to worry. He is still learning some leash manners, and gets overexcited to be walking. Someone with a bit of patience and willingness to walk slow until he gets the hang of this is probably best. He knows how to sit and lie down, and loves to practice his tricks for a treat. He loves kisses, a good butt scratch and a soft toy to play fetch with. If you're looking for a family dog or a new love of your life this boy is the one. He'll keep up with your adventures and definitely get you fit, but as long as you like to move this dog is basically no trouble at all. He's already so well trained and such an angel of a boy!! He's currently being fostered in Manhattan, NY.

  We don’t know how this stunning girl hasn’t caught someone’s eye yet. Beautiful Buttercup is around 1 year old and 55lbs.    Buttercup is a well-mannered house guest! She is already crate trained, potty trained and isn’t destructive. She is a friendly and social gal who seeks attention. Her  ideal home is one that is quiet but will provide her plenty of exercise time. We think Buttercup gets a little overstimulated if there is a lot going on. Buttercup LOVES to be outside! She enjoys playing in the yard and also just exploring so a fenced yard is needed. She is dog friendly and  would be fine with or without a dog friend. Buttercup enjoys walks and would be a good buddy for an active person but she does still need some work on her overly excited nature when  encountering other dogs.    Buttercup would love nothing more to find her forever home in time for the holidays so she can start settling in. This girl is so sweet and deserves her forever family. Finn has spent the last 5 months in a shelter so many of your typical household sights and sounds are new to him. He is learning how to be a loved indoor pet.   Finn absolutely loves being outside. He would make a great hiking partner or a running buddy. If that’s not your style, no worries! Finn loves to run in the yard and play catch with himself. He runs around throwing his toys up in the air and catching them. And he’ll play catch with you, too! He actually retrieves and brings his toys back to you for more.   The best part about Finn is his A+ snuggling skills. He loves crawling up in your lap or snuggling in next to you for some pets and belly rubs. Finn gets along with other dogs and is compatible with cats. She is playful, confident, and curious and likes exploring her new surroundings inside and outside.    Liberty pup is dog friendly and is in a foster home with a few other dogs. She tends to be the one to initiate play and loves a good wrestling match. She is working on the puppy fundamentals like crate training and house training.
