His foster describes him as playful, smart and outgoing while at the same time saying he's not good with small animals or young children. With his coat of black and his eyes of brown, we don't see how you could possibly not take him home! Precious is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Precious is a female, possibly Flat-Coated Retriever/Border Collie, and is around 2 1/2 years old (January 29). -She came into our shelter from a neglect/abuse situation along with multiple dogs in May 2024. -Gets along with other dogs -Can be shy at first, but she warms up pretty quickly. Her ideal home is one that is quiet but will provide her plenty of exercise time. We think Buttercup gets a little overstimulated if there is a lot going on. Buttercup LOVES to be outside! Her sweet personality shines bright when you meet her as she comes to you for scratches and love. Noel is nervous in new environments but leans on her humans for guidance and her tail really starts wagging when she sees dog friends around! Noel sleeps well overnight and is doing great with house and crate training. She is getting used to going on walks on the leash with some positive encouragement. This petite gal is settling into home-life well after finding herself in an overcrowded and rural shelter. She is enjoying sharing her foster home with her new dog and people friends!
