Meet Oberlin!! He came in as a stray on 2/21/25. We think he is about a year old. He is a fabulous dog. He is gorgeous and he is very friendly and playful. He has lots of energy and he pulls hard on the leash so you will need to be able to handle him. He is smart and willing to learn new tricks. He already knows how to sit and how to shake with both paws. You don't want to miss out on this very handsome guy. He is available for adoption so hurry in to meet him! Oberlin is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH Phone is 419-774-5892 It is an application process. You can request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov

Story
Lily is incredibly intelligent, and in being such, is very much a handful. She will literally speak up if she has anything to say, or at least she tries to. She is very loving, and thinks she is a baby sometimes, and that she is small enough to be a lap dog. Her cutesy mannerisms are 😍We have worked with her on basic things, and when worked with she catches on quick to most things. The downside? She needs training with cats and being out and about. We tried walking trails with her several times, but we are not professionals and this behavior is a bit too much for us to handle. She's currently living in a small home, which makes her very restless. She would make an AMAZING farm dog or to be in a home with someone that's patient with her. Lots of energy, loves to play and is an expert catcher. Please don't adopt her if you don't have a yard or can walk her often, she's extremely high energy. She LOVES the laser pointer, watches airplanes and all sorts of other quirky behaviors. 🐾

Story
This was my Mom's dog. She passed away 4 months ago and I couldn't bear to see him go to a shelter. But he doesn't get along with my cats at all. He's a very intelligent and respectful dog. He's a cuddler, loves walks and he thinks he's a lap dog.
