Story
Houston is a beautiful 2 year old (will be 3 in January 2025) AKC Golden Retriever who is a total love bug. He is always happy and is really the sweetest boy. Playful and active but with a great off switch. His favorite activities are playing fetch and snuggling in close on the couch. Things to consider: Houston is VERY shy at first. He is very attached to me and is great with my children and family but is nervous meeting new people. He needs someone who can give him a few minutes to warm up before he shows his best self. Houston seems to get along best with female dogs. He is not good with poultry. He does mark in the house occasionally but my hope is this will be rectified once he is neutered- neutering will be required by any potential adopter. Crate trained and up to date on vaccinations. Microchipped. Weighs approximately 55 pounds. Available now.
