Things you might wanna know about me:I'm a fully grown adult. No puppy here! But I can be puppyish sometimes.I like some other dogs, but not all, just like you don't like every person you meet. But if you want to give me a home, you need to have another dog for me to play with.I give the sweetest kisses when I'm trying to tell you I want/need something. I also have the cutest little groan sounds, too.I'm still learning to cuddle. I'm still nervous about it and have a hard time settling.I came from a really horrible situation, and I'm the only survivor. So I really need to know I can depend on you. I'm crate trained. And I need my crate. It is my home base and my default, even when the door is open and people are home. It's my safe space.I'm VERY treat motivated. Peanut butter and cheese are the best things EVER. Don't tell foster mommy, but I know there may be a pill in there. They taste so good, I can't help myself.I need time to warm up to new people and trust them. I like meeting new people, but I will default to my person.Storms make me nervous, but I like water, and I don't mind being in the rain if need be.A fenced backyard is a must. From my previous life, I like to be outside and will just hang out, but need a place to be able to do that safely. Bonus if I can dig in the dirt!If you'd like to meet me, please contact the shelter so they can put you in touch with my foster mom. I'm neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on all my shots and preventatives. Primary Color: Black Weight: 99 Age: 7yrs 4mths 3wks

Story
Odin is a sweet young lab looking for his forever home! This sweet, boy came in as a stray-so his past is a mystery-but he must have been loved, because he has a very sweet disposition. He sits quietly in his kennel, waiting for his turn to go out for a walk. He has no reaction to his kennel mates as he leaves. He has those long legs of a lab, but weighs only 44 pounds. Odin is a little unsure of loud noises outside and can become skittish when spooked, so careful attention to his safety when outside should be considered. His brown, gentle eyes look up for reassurance. He is very eager to please, sits nicely and is happy to take treats gently from your hand. He is also THE CHAMPION of catching treats! Check it out: https://youtube.com/shorts/IKUmSMKY1-o?feature=shareOdin is so sweet and rather submissive during playtime with other dogs. He will quickly belly up for the pack if he gets even a little scared. He is friendly and gentle--enjoying engaging with other friendly dogs. May not be a dog park dog, as his submissive nature could be taken advantage of by others, but he would likely be a great around-the-town type of dog due to his friendly nature. If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Odin 255292".He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Black Weight: 44 Age: 2yrs 1mths 1wks
