Meet Kylee! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143This sweet 9-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix is 53 pounds of love and loyalty. Kylee came to us after her owner sadly passed away, and now she’s looking for a new family to shower with affection. She’s great with other dogs and loves to play, especially when toys are involved! However, she’s not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home would be best. Most of all, Kylee adores people and is incredibly loving and affectionate. If you’re looking for a gentle, playful, and devoted companion, Kylee would love to meet you! IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 12, 2025, 6:56 am

Hi! I'm Tacoma, a curious puppy still learning about the world. I might be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'll be your best friend. I love cuddles and am very gentle. I'm always eager to please and am great at sitting. I'm starting to learn other commands too. I enjoy playing with other dogs and am good with kids. I'm looking for a home where I can continue to grow and learn (I love to run around in a fenced-in backyard!). I promise to be the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ever ask for, filling your life with joy, friendship, and endless cuddles. For real! And I'll always be there to share in your happiness and comfort you in your sorrows. I can't wait to meet you!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $500To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Hi, I'm Ranger! I'm a spunky little guy who just recently arrived to Minnesota with my Mom and my siblings! I love it here, and can even tolerate the cold pretty well! I'm pretty good at doing most my duties outside; I'm improving every day! I sleep awesome in my kennel all night, only a few little whines at the start. When my foster mom leaves I get to hang out in the doggie room, where my kennel is, with my other foster pups. We snack, play and nap together! I'm a big cuddler too! My foster mom loves it cuz I keep her toasty warm! I love to play with my foster pup friends and the 2 resident dogs! We have fun running all over the backyard! Come meet me and see what a cutie I am! I know you will love me, cuz I'm just so loveable!!!!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi everyone! My name is F-150, you know, like the truck. My foster dad says it's fitting that I'm named after a Ford because as he puts it I’m built TOUGH. I’m still getting settled into this new life, and let me tell you, it’s been an adventure. But so far, I love it! The warm house, bed, treats foster Dad gives me and playing with my foster Bro Ori. My foster brother and I have become instant friends so I know I'd fit in like a glove with your family! This is a life I KNOW I’m gonna love……even if I don’t love the cold BRR ;)Speaking of, if I thought it was cold in Alabama, this Minnesota place is much colder, yikes! But do you know what would help warm it and you up on days like this? ME! I love nothing more than to cuddle and be close to my person. I’m SO soft and warm, like a blanket with personality. Foster Dad has been telling everyone how great my snuggles are and that I have so much luvs to give and want just as much back. He also says I'm such a good boy - he's never had a more readily adoptable guest before! There would be nothing that would make me happier and warm my heart than finding my furever home with you!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee + 6 months diabetic supplies: SponsoredMillie wants to please her people as well as be with them while they are at home. She loves riding in the car. If the weather allows, she’s a great dog to go on errands with. I think she’s happier that she was brought along rather than left alone at home. Millie is house trained and at this time she requires an insulin shot right after she eats in the morning and 10-12 hours later, with dinner-she requires special diabetic dog food. Approximate monthly cost of her medications and prescription food is $335. This is covered by the Rescue in foster care. She gets along well with other dogs she can be a bit too much for smaller dogs. and cats are unknown. She can be very vocal when hungry or when she has to go outside. Her best bet is a fenced yard that she can be just let out to go potty when she needs to.  Millie will need to continue to work with a Veterinarian to keep her diabetes regulated so she can live a long happy life.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

Story
Moses is a sweet, loving dog who recently came back to rescue after quite a bit of time. He has endured a lot of trauma over his short life & is looking for something pretty specific in his new home! Read on to learn all about this little hunk of love.   Moses’ puppy months were spent in a Kentucky hoarding situation, and he is especially scared of men. He is not aggressive but will bark/growl, avoid, and stay to himself when men are around. He barks at new people when they come into the room or the home. He was adopted & returned after 2 years. I suspect, that was due to his reaction to new people and that he didn’t like a man in the picture. He tends to attach to only one person in the home, usually female, making it challenging for anyone else to get close to him. He does show curiosity and allows his back to be pet, even when he is avoiding…he has never snapped or bitten, but it seems clear that he will never seek out attention from anyone other than “mom”. He has been in a few foster homes for temporary care and he struggled in each one when more than one person lived in the home. To avoid another home that is not a good fit for him, the BEST place for Moses would be with a person who lives alone (preferably female) or an extremely patient household that will understand it will take him a long time to be comfortable. His ideal owner would understand his fear of new people and use his crate effectively when people visit the home. He prefers to curl up in his crate when too many people are around anyway, so it’s a win-win situation for Moses and house guests. He will allow dog sitters or friends to put his leash on him and take him for walks, so that isn’t a problem. He is just very worried when there are multiple people. He doesn’t understand how to trust or want attention from more than one person at a time. He previously lived with a cat, in an apartment and did fine. While Moses is extremely shy at first, with another dog, his confidence comes out almost immediately. He does not require a dog friend in his fur-ever home and mostly wants to play with a calmer dog, instead of a crazy puppy, if there is another dog. He really loves dogs but not those that jump all over him and don’t take cues saying “leave me alone”.   Now that you’ve made it past his quirks… He kennels perfectly & doesn’t make a peep. He eats & sleeps all night in his kennel. He is 100% potty trained and has had no marking or accidents in the house, so a kennel isn’t necessary but it does provide him a space to feel safe if needed. He doesn’t chew on things he is not supposed to, loves bones & squeaky toys, and rolling around in the grass. He is a little overweight so walks are great for his diet journey! He walks beautifully on a leash.  He is a medium sized dog with a BIG heart, and is just looking for a patient, loving home who will show him safety and snuggles fur-ever. He is a wonderful couch potato buddy but would also be a great hiking partner, as he does want to please. He doesn’t bark in the yard or in the house but will bark & do a very crazy/hilarious dance when its time for dinner.  Moses loves to sleep on top of his person at night or glued to your side & will follow you EVERYWHERE you go! When he falls in love it is FOREVER!     Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00/span>  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 24, 2024, 2:00 pm

Story
Hi everyone, my name is Wasp. At the moment, I'm the baby in the group. I’m a lab born 12/6/2022 with honey eyes. Sometimes I'll flash my sweet innocent eyes and my foster family will give extra cuddles, scratches, or treats! I'm good at potty training but once in a while when I go somewhere different, I might have an incident. I sleep in my crate but I would prefer to cuddle with my family members. I'm a great walker by myself or with fur foster siblings and I love to go for car rides. Sometimes I get to go shopping and I'm a good girl, I lay down in the cart and never make a peep. My foster mom has taught me to sit, stay, and be gentle. I love to play and wrestle with my fur foster siblings, I can play for a long time, and when I get tired, I'll just crawl into a ball either by bed, couch, or your lap. I normally stay close to my foster mom and I never run off where I'm not supposed to. I love to be with kids! My best bud is my 7 yr old foster brother Angelo. We are always playing outside. I can't wait to meet my new family so I can show them what I've learned so far and give them such love as I received from the family and friends I've met so far. Thanks for looking at my bio and hope to see you soon! A doption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate),   Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age , Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 17, 2025, 2:47 pm
