Story
Hi everyone, my name is Tacoma (yes, like the truck)! Foster mom tells me it’s actually very fitting because they are known to be tough and easy on the eyes! You see I had to be tough because sadly life didn’t start out the best for my family. Me, my mom & siblings were brought to rescue after being saved from a bad situation. You’d never know it though because I am very affectionate, friendly, and have quickly learned to love the luxuries of home life (beds, toys, treats - oh my)!My soulful puppy eyes, cute white socks, and truly awesome ears are some of my best features! Foster mom keeps asking me for beauty tips because she thinks my eyeliner is perfection. I tried telling her I am a natural beauty, no make up for me!I get along with everyone here - dogs, cats, and humans too (we have quite the crew). I have the right amount of energy and like to play but will settle down nicely. Sleeping in a crate works for me but a bed is always preferred! Potty training is coming along but I am smart and will get there in no time!If you’d like to meet for a test drive I am sure you will find me to be award winning, best in class, & feature loaded (cute, smart, friendly, cuddly, playful, & funny too - get my truck jokes?)In all seriousness, I would love nothing more than to find a family of my own sonI can continue to learn, grow, and enjoy the doggy good life. In return, I promise to give you endless amounts of snuggles and will be the bestest doggy companion!XOXO, Tacoma --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $500To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Hi everyone! My name is F-150, you know, like the truck. My foster dad says it's fitting that I'm named after a Ford because as he puts it I’m built TOUGH. I’m still getting settled into this new life, and let me tell you, it’s been an adventure. But so far, I love it! The warm house, bed, treats foster Dad gives me and playing with my foster Bro Ori. This is a life I KNOW I’m gonna love……even if I don’t love the cold BRR ;)Speaking of, if I thought it was cold in Alabama, this Minnesota place is much colder, yikes! But do you know what would help warm it and you up on days like this? ME! I love nothing more than to cuddle and be close to my person. I’m SO soft and warm, like a blanket with personality. Foster Dad has been telling everyone how great my snuggles are and that I have so much luvs to give and want just as much back ;)There would be nothing that would make me happier and warm my heart than finding my furever home with you!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi there, I’m Sierra, I came here with my older puppies and am learning how to live life without them, I tell you, I’m enjoying the stress free life as I had to keep them safe from critters and cold in my former situation. I’m a really good momma, but done with that.So many things to tell you, I am potty trained! I sleep in my crate without a peep and let my fosters sleep in! I’m pretty small, I come up to my foster’s knee. One of my puppies is just about as big a me. I really like being petted! The resident dog wants me to play with him, I’m just about ready to do just that! I also haven’t barked!!So far I don’t get up on furniture, if you want me to continue that you better get me fast cuz my foster mom loves to have a snuggly pup and she tells me I can come up, I just haven’t yet. I’m still getting used to life inside a house, I know steps now and my fosters are amazed I haven’t had any accidents! Do I walk well on leash? They don’t really know yet, it’s been really really cold so walks haven’t happened, it needs to get a bit warmer; they think I’ll do fine though. But you know what? I’m tough as I can handle going outside in this cold and I’m intrigued by the snow, I wish they had more!Let’s meet and you can see just how beautiful and sweet I am! Hi, I'm Ranger! I'm a spunky little guy who just recently arrived to Minnesota with my Mom and my siblings! I love it here, and can even tolerate the cold pretty well! I'm pretty good at doing most my duties outside; I'm improving every day! I sleep awesome in my kennel all night, only a few little whines at the start. When my foster mom leaves I get to hang out in the doggie room, where my kennel is, with my other foster pups. We snack, play and nap together! I'm a big cuddler too! My foster mom loves it cuz I keep her toasty warm! I love to play with my foster pup friends and the 2 resident dogs! We have fun running all over the backyard! Come meet me and see what a cutie I am! I know you will love me, cuz I'm just so loveable!!!!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi everyone, my name is Ram, you know, like the truck. My siblings and I were all named after trucks because we were brought to the shelter in Alabama in the back of a truck. Anyways, that was just the start of my life getting SO much better! My foster mom says I have this thing called a "wiggly tail". I can't help it, this new life is great! I absolutely love snuggling and chewing on all of these fun toys. I love brining my toys to my foster family, they call them my "presents" to them. Ive been told that I am a pretty calm pup. I love taking long naps and lounging around wherever my people are. I get short spurts of energy where I love to play and run around, but then I'm ready to snuggle back in. I really enjoy spending time in the backyard. I am sure to take my time sniffing around and going on a good backyard adventure. If I am really in need of a good snooze, I'll wander into my kennel for a little rest, but I am typically found near my foster family. I have been working on sleeping in my kennel at night too! I cant wait to have a family of my very own! Lets meet soon. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi everyone, my name is Silverado! I was brought to a shelter in Alabama with my mom and siblings. They were SO nice to me and worked diligently to find me an amazing foster home in Minnesota to help me find my forever home. So far, I have learned that I love to play with toys and snuggle in for a good nap. I also enjoy getting to go to work with my foster dad from time to time. I am working very hard on my potty training and so far, its going great! I am a smart boy so I know I'll have it down soon! This whole living in a house thing is new to me, but I am working on getting adjusted. I love people and dog friends! I can be a little shy at first, but if you show me some love, I warm up quickly. I can't wait to get to live the rest of my life with a wonderful family. Could that be you? --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Have you been looking for that diamond in the rough who has been polished to a flawed perfection in foster care?! Look no further because Cheeto is your man! Cheeto is a 67-ish pound, approximately 1-1/2 year old hound mix who had a rough start in life.  He has been trying very hard learning how to be the goodest dog while in foster care. He is very food motivated and he loves to learn & please.  He is 100% house trained and kennel trained. He is kenneled for a full work day right now and does great.  Cheeto thrives on routines, consistency, love, and positive reinforcement. He loves his walks on a gentle leader and really enjoys zoomies in the backyard. Cheeto has a lot of emotions and is learning how to properly express them. Because of this, he sometimes takes a little longer when he meets new dogs. He loves being part of a pack but it will likely some extra take time, patience & understanding when introducing him. He would probably do best as an only doggo, even though he has lived with other dogs.  Speaking of attention, his favorite spot in the whole world is on your lap cuddling. He crawls right up onto your lap and into your heart. He also spends the night curled up next to me in bed, the closer the better. He sleeps through the night and wakes up with kisses to the alarm. He would do best in a home without cats. He loves to chase them. If you have a dog-savvy cat who won't run away and will give him a good swat, he will respect that. Cheeto has become the perfectly- imperfect dog looking for his forever home. If you'd like to learn more, please reach out! Interested in fostering and/or adopting? She is a 55 pound, 1 1/2 year old pit mix that does well with routine. She is a quick learner. Although she loves walks, she needs to keep  her focus on minimizing squirrel and other dog interactions.  She is energetic but knows when it's time to chill. She will get as close to you as possible. Ami is crate trained, but will let you know in the morning when she's ready for food. She's vocal when anticipating walks or food. She will do best with another dog and/or a fenced yard Ami lives with another dog and cat. The dogs play incredibly well together and the cat decides to tease them both on a regular basis.
