Hi please meet Bonnie, a beautiful reddish brown 3 year old Flat coated Retriever mix, around 45 lbs. She likes hanging out with her male friend Bear. Bonnie gets along well with adults and other dogs. This beautiful girl is learning to be crate and potty trained. Bonnie walks well on a leash. This sweet girl is anxiously awaiting for her forever family and home. She would love it if it could be with her friend Bear. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Story
This fun, outgoing, active girl is ready to work her way into your heart! Belle loves everything and everyone and will light up your life with her positive energy. We will be honest that sometimes her enthusiasm is excessive, so she needs someone who can reinforce good behavior so she doesn't jump or knock others over. For that reason we would prefer her to be in a home with no young children who live there all the time. She would be fine with kids visiting since she adores them, but she will need to get her initial excitement out first. Belle enjoys being on the go, riding in the car, meeting new people and exploring the world but she does settle when she is at home and is a perfect couch potato. She is good on leash when she is out and about and loves exploring. While Belle loves other dogs, we have found that she loves them a little too much and not all dogs love her enthusiasm for them. We are working on helping her learn how to regulate and channel her excitement so until that is better, we prefer that she lives as an only pet. No cats for the same reason. A fenced yard would be ideal and she is currently trained on an electric fence which she can be out on as long as you are monitoring her. Belle is a perfect medium size at about 45 lbs, and she is even more beautiful in person. She thrives with structure and training and LOVES to be with her people. She is being fostered in Litchfield county Connecticut so please fill out an application if you would like to meet her! www.spottydogrescue.org ##1473726##

Story
Hello, world! I'm Oakley, a 4-month-old Labrador retriever/collie mix, and let me tell you, I’m all set for a life of adventure. My vaccines are up to date, and I've got a microchip, too, so I'm basically the James Bond of puppies—licensed to play and ready to conquer hearts everywhere!   Now, let's talk about my personality because, boy, do I have one! I'm a fun-loving, high-energy dude who's got more enthusiasm than a kid hopped up on cotton candy at a carnival. I get along fabulously with everyone—dogs, kids, and even those mysterious creatures called kitties. Seriously, if there were a Nobel Prize for getting along with others, I'd be a strong contender. I’m basically the furry, four-legged diplomat of the animal kingdom.   I’m currently embarking on my academic journey in crate training. Let's just say I'm a work in progress, but hey, Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is a perfectly trained pup! And as for the whole housebreaking thing, I'm still figuring out that particular puzzle. But I’m a clever little guy, so with a consistent routine and a family that’s more understanding than a therapist with a PhD in dog psychology, I’ll have it down pat in no time.   So, if you're in search of a smart cookie who's got more charm than a box of lucky charms and a heart as big as my puppy eyes, look no further. I promise to fill your days with wagging tails, endless cuddles, and a lifetime supply of love. Just don't be surprised if I occasionally mistake your slippers for my new favorite toy—I'm still working on that, too!  Apply for Oakley ##2278811##

Story
We're LOVE-struck! Bingo (M, 53 lbs) is only 9m old and already has quite a story. His original owner bought him from a breeder even though his live-in girlfriend said she didn't want a dog. He put time and training into Bingo but his relationship struggled. Bingo's owner ended up moving out and said he would come daily to care for Bingo until he found a place for them which he was doing but when he couldn't she would not feed or walk Bingo. She called the shelter and told them that if they didn't accept Bingo she would just leave him in his crate to starve, as she had been doing and she meant it (heartless). Bingo came in underweight and heartbroken, having lost the only Dad (she doesn't get to be recognized as anything but a villain) he had ever known but he kept his spirits up which landed straight into adoptions, where he was scooped up. One would think happy ending but not just yet. His adopter returned him in just a couple of days because her cat was afraid of him even though he had not done anything, except be a dog in a home with a cat that had never met a dog. Who knows, they may have become best of friends but he was never given the chance. He's back at the shelter now💔 We met Bingo today, though his head hung low, he wagged his tail and when we came over to him, he gave us the most gentle, sweetest puppy kisses. We couldn't help but take him out for a walk and some play! He is sooooo sweet, social, smart, playful, a mush, a kissy face, wiggle butt, mush! Though he pulled a little on the leash, he checked in regularly with us, was food motivated, knows some basic commands, passed dogs politely, and even went back into his cage (his clean cage) without a complaint, just one last kiss to show his gratitude. Please help us save Bingo, reach out learn more! He's located at a shelter nearby CT, will come fully vetted and we will help transport!
