Bonnie gets along well with adults and other dogs. This beautiful girl is learning to be crate and potty trained. Bonnie walks well on a leash. This sweet girl is anxiously awaiting for her forever family and home. She would love it if it could be with her friend Bear. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Story
Louis was given away by his original family a year or so ago. The new owner dumped him. He wandered up to someone's house in our county here in Texas > He was very thin. We took him in and to the vet. He had parasites, was a bit anemic. We put him in a foster who fattened him up. Then we got him neutered and he had to complete heartworm treatment. Now he is fit as a fiddle and looking for a forever home where there might be some cool weather! nice boy!

APPLICATION: If this dog has stolen your heart, don't wait! Please apply online now to be considered as a potential adopter. NAME, GENDER, AGE WEIGHT BREED & VIDEO DOG: GREEN JEANS GENDER: MALE DOB: 01-15-24 WEIGHT: 25 lbs BREED: Flat Coat Retriever (Comfort Dog) LOCATION: Preston CT DONATION $550.00 VIDEO: Pups Green, Red & Pink Outside Exploring on how to navigate a ramp and stairs - this was built just for rescue dogs to learn how to use stairs and a ramp Green Jeans weighed 42.2 lbs. on June 13, 2024, he is a male flat coat retriever and was the first born. He is very loving and a laid-back big boy; each day before he is put down for a nap, he is the first to snuggle right up to his human and put his right paw on her leg. He is very smart, loving and social with people and dogs. He loves the pool but just but cautious about what exactly water is all about, personal attention and companionship from his littermates and humans. His foster mom tells us that he can be independent and can take the role of a very gentle alpha when the other two pups need him to slow their play time down. At night, foster mom always takes a moment to talk to him and he rolls over for a belly run. He loves his siblings and will snuggle with his brother Red between the pen sections, comes when he is called, and he knows how to sit for food. Foster mom does think he definitely loves his people. He is trained to use the litter box and is working on his leash training. Green Jeans has a lot to offer a loving family. This guy is very gentle and enjoys his time with his humans. He is very loving, attentive, and follows foster mom all over! He is a puppy and has lots of energy, but can quickly settle down and become a very large and loving lap dog! Green Jeans is best described as a happy go lucky guy, eager to run, play and be with his siblings. He is a polite, learns quickly and a real loving little boy. If you’re looking for an easy-going family dog, then he is right for you. Nothing would be better than curling up with him at the end of the day. Flat Coat Retrievers are comfort dogs. Name: LuckyBreed: Chesapeake Bay Retriever MixAge: 2 years oldKids: Over 12Dogs: YesCats: NoOur lovely Lucky has been hanging out in foster care while searching for her forever home! Though she is loving life in her foster home, Lucky thinks it's about time she finds her family!Lucky is 2 years old and is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix. This pretty girl loves attention and is super affectionate! Lucky has a ton of energy so she would benefit from someone who has an active lifestyle that can take her running or hiking and preferably a home with a fenced-in yard where she can get all her zoomies out! Lucky loves chasing the tennis ball and zipping around her fosters yard! Don't get her wrong, Lucky likes her quiet time at home hanging out with her foster dad and just relaxing. Lucky girl loves everyone she meets, is very trusting of people, and bonds quickly! This girl will be glued to your side in a minute and be your bestie!Lucky likes other dogs, though she sometimes doesn't know how big she is, so would prefer a canine companion comparable in size or one who can handle her energetic play style. We are saying children over 12 for Lucky because she can get a bit excited at times and jumpy when greeting people, but she's working hard on her manners.Lucky is housebroken, crate-trained, spayed, microchipped, and UTD on her vaccinations. If you are interested in Lucky, please fill out an adoption application today! https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27
