Story
Lisy is an adorable 6 month old puppy. With her soft coat, puppy dog eyes, floppy ears and friendly personality she will wiggle her way into your heart. Her ti-colored black, brown and white, markings are distinctive of some larger breeds but she is only twenty pounds now and her foster Mom thinks she will likely grow into a medium size dog. Lisy is affectionate! A touch shy at first meeting but after only three days in her foster home, she is following her foster mom around the house and ready to crawl into a lap and have a nap. This girl loves to cuddle. She is dog friendly, and would probably enjoy a home with other pups to play with. She is a puppy so be prepared for puppy exuberance, playfulness, and the need for training. Lisy is smart and treat motivated. She knows to sit for pets and is working on house training (which is getting better every day). We are also working on crate training and Lisy is doing well with this. A new family for Lisy will need to continue this training. Lisy, at 6 months, seems to have grown out of the most destructive period of puppy hood (she doesn't try to chew on everything in site) but she does still enjoy a bully stick or chew treat. She will happily chase a ball but retrieval is not a basic instinct for this pup. This little one is a sweetheart, come meet her!

Story
This lab mix is about 6 - 8 months old, likely going to be about 45 lbs full grown, dog friendly, uses the doggie door, potty trained if you make sure to go outside with him and encourage him while he’s there, walks well on a leash and loves to admire himself in a mirror! 🤣 Sweet little boy!! Rocket went on an outing to Home Depot and Jax where he met lots of new people and did just wonderful! He loved seeing so many different kids, so if you have kids at home rest assured he will be a wonderful play mate for them! Rocket and 3 of his siblings, Tobi, Sooner and Flora came to us from Oklahoma and are guessed to around 5 months old. They have been called Lab mixes, but your guess is as good as ours! Rocket is doing wonderful in his foster home, listens well and is ready to make a great family companion. He has a very sweet demeanor! Apply for Rocket today and come meet him!

Story
Meet Tyson - this happy-go-lucky lab charms with his full body wag and Doby-the-house-elf ears. He is so excited to be around humans that he can hardly contain himself. A fast learner, he taught himself the dog door in a flash, is mastering SIT like a champ and runs on praise though he’d happily take treats for encouragement too. He is housebroken, behaves on his walks and is thrilled with anything that looks like it could be fetched. This guy needs his people - he will be your absolutely devoted companion and love you with every fiber of his being if you just give him a chance to show you how good a boy he is. Tyson has some “oh my gosh, living ina home is the best so it’s all mine!!” With other dogs, so he will need to learn to incorporate himself into a home with other dogs so he’s not being a resource guarder. With some time and patience and good training reinforcement we’re sure he can learn his things are here to stay, bur his ideal family would either know how to help him feel at ease about guarding things or would not have other dogs. If you love Labradors, then you need to meet Tyson! This smiling pup came to us from Oklahoma and is thought to be around 2 years old. Tyson dances on his front two feet at his kennel door when you come to give him some love. He has Lab energy but is great on a leash and is good about not jumping up on people. Tyson is the kind of dog that is going to love a place to run and play and people to go adventuring with! Apply for Tyson and come meet him at our Wellington location!
