Story
Mocha is 10 mos, I adopted her from a rescue at 4 mos. Mocha is 60% chocolate lab and 40% red doberman. She is about 63 lbs now. She has pretty orange fur underneath her brown coat, orange eyes and a super curly cute tail. She is an absolute sweetheart, loves to cuddle with you while laying down, she is amazing and friendly with other dogs and people, loves to play and has alot of puppy energy to burn at dog parks, walks and outdoors. At dog parks, she greets other pups with licks which really shows her friendly personality. Molly, spayed female, 3.5-year-old, 49 Lbs. She is a total cuddle bug when around familiar faces. It’ll take her a short while to overcome shyness when encountering strangers. Being a young pup, Molly is playful and curious; sometimes could be a bit rough while playing around young children or cats, though. Molly is a good car rider and has good table manners at meal time. She enjoys the company of other dogs. She’s potty trained to go outside or inside of the house on pee pad; crate trained to sleep overnight; not a barker or chewer when inside the house. Molly will do best for a family with another similar sized dog and backyard. Molly’s rescue story: The first encounter of Molly and the rescuer was when she’s enjoying her beach stroll. Molly was running among many visitors that day. Followed her around, the rescuer found out that Molly was being fed by members of the coastal guard temporarily since she came down from the neighboring mountain region. With the consent of the coaster guard, the rescuer took Molly for a checkup and proper immunization and then placed her under foster care to ready her for adoption. Dolly, spayed female, 3y-5-m-old, 44-lbs If you would like to give DOLLY a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application Dolly has an easy-going temperament, very playful and lively. She loves people and is sociable around other dogs and stays calm when meeting cats. She is potty trained and crate trained to sleep overnight; not a chewer or barker. Dolly is most suitable for an outdoor loving family, and/or as an addition to family with dog. Dolly’s rescue story: Driving home during a stormy night, the rescuer spotted a dark moving object in-between the traffic lanes. When she stopped her car to check it out, she found Dolly moving toward her slowly, wagging her tail. She didn’t seem injured but apparently had difficulty moving. Dolly followed the rescuer to her car and off to the hospital they went. The doctor’s diagnostic was that Dolly simply suffered from starvation. Under the care of her foster family, Dolly regained her hearth and received proper training. But being a dog with black color coat has hardly any chance to be adopted by local people. Hopefully Dolly can start her new life aboard.
