Meet Archie! 🐾💙
Archie is a 2.5-year-old, (approx), 57 lb Black Lab mix who is bursting with love, energy, and personality! This handsome boy is looking for an active and loving forever home where he can be part of the family.
Archie is a big snuggle bug who loves spending time with his people—whether it’s lounging on the couch, watching TV, or relaxing on his bed. He’s very food motivated (he’ll eat just about anything!) but has never been fed human food, so he’s not one to beg at the table nor does he eat or chew on anything that he shouldn’t.

✅ Well-Trained & Smart – He knows sit, stay, down, and place (go to his bed) and is an excellent listener.
✅ Crate Trained & Sleeps Like a Champ – He loves his crate and sleeps in it every night.
✅ Playful & Athletic – He’s very fast and loves running in open fields. He’d thrive in a home with a big yard or active owners who enjoy outdoor adventures, especially hiking.
✅ Great travel companion - He's an adventurer who does well on long drives (he loves the car).
✅ Great with Other Dogs (Off-Leash) – While he can be slightly leash-aggressive with other dogs, he does great at daycare and enjoys socializing off-leash. He can be excitable on walks when he sees other dogs who get close. He's come a long way in on-leash reactivity.
✅ Leash-Friendly – He does well on walks, especially with a harness, and does not tug.
✅ Loyal & Loving – While he can be a little wary of strangers (especially men), he is sweet and friendly once he warms up, especially in a home setting.
