Story
Hello, my name is Magenta. I was saved from the Euthanasia list for being fearful. Life is really scary right now . I have a wonderful foster who is working with me. I am taking each day slow and steady and learning to be a dog, hoping one day a forever home. Please keep me in mind if looking to adopt, I look forwarded to being the best I can be. Right now I need to go slow and learn the world is not so scary as well as my people friends.

Story
Bear is a sweet boy who came to Better Days Rescue with an injury to his leg. We would like to schedule surgery for him, however, need a foster or adopter who can take him into their home to help with post-operative recovery. Surgery and veterinary care will be paid for by Better Days. He's an easy going guy looking for love! Could you be his family? Discussion about a dog, including scheduling a home check, can't occur until we have received your completed application. Story
Jessie was picked up as a stray so we don't have any background information on her. She looks a lot like a flatcoated retriever and acts a lot like one. She is very athletic, loves to runs and play and is very good with other dogs as long as they are not too overbearing with her. She will submit to them and then defend herself if pushed too far, not inappropriately, she just draws a line for them as to where is too much. She is very sweet with people and would likely make a very good dog for older children that are big enough to handle all her energy. She loves her treats and belly rubs. Not sure how she would be with cats, I am sure she would chase them if they ran, that would be an awesome game for her. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Story
Anakin Black Lab Age 9 Best with no small children Ok with small dogs, would be best as the only dog Fully potty trained and used to using a dog door Knows how to sit and shake. Knows “down” and “drop it” Loves walks but does pull on the leash because he gets really excited, but he will walk with you as long as you want Anakin is very loving and sweet. He wants nothing more than to hang out on the couch with his humans. He wants to be wherever you are and cover you with kisses. He loves toys and will pull all the fluff out if they’re not tough enough! Tug of war is one of his favorite games to play. He does get nervous around new people and will bark until he gets used to them. He has a prescription for trazodone to help with that anxiety. I can give refill it and give that to you. Unfortunately, he did bite my daughter twice in the span of 2 years. Both time were because he was startled from sleep and his space was not respected
