Story
Curly (A141652) is a Lab x Mastiff mix who weighed 80.7 pounds on intake! 04/02/26 This dynamic duo is Curly and his sister Mia! They were said to be quite the pair and love each other’s company. However, it was noted that Curly can be a little pushy when it comes for attention if Mia is getting petted and he wants in on the action. We are not requiring that they be adopted together, but they may enjoy going as a pair. Both were stated to be housebroken and know their basic commands. They were also stated to generally mind well and like car rides! In their last home, they were described as affectionate dogs who love their people, children, and adults! They do not have experience with other animals, so it is very important that slow, safe, and controlled introductions are made to help set them up for success. They are sweet pups looking for their next place to call home. If you are interested in meeting Curly or Mia, please let us know! April 7, 2026, 11:34 pm

Story
Harlow James (A139931) is a 4-year-old Lab mix who weighed nearly 60 pounds on intake! 03/13/26 Mister Harlow James is back at the shelter due to no fault of his own. His most recent owners were also unable to find housing that allowed pets. His most recent owners said Harlow does well with humans of all ages and described him as being outgoing, gentle, friendly, and affectionate (and cuddly)! He was also said to ride well in the car and to mind generally well. He has been known to dig and get into the trash on occasion, but he was said to be housebroken and kennel trained! Harlow is looking to be an only pet where he can soak up all the attention and cuddles to himself. He still needs slow introductions to other dogs when meeting them out and about. He is not very good at picking up on social cues and sometimes comes off too strong. If you are interested in meeting Harlow, please give us a call!10/07/25 This cuddly boy is Harlow James! Harlow James was surrendered to the shelter because his owner was unable to find a pet-friendly lease in town. Harlow James was said to be the bestest boy and would love to find his new people to share his love with. Not only is a great at cuddling on the couch, but he also loves to go on outdoor adventures! Harlow James was said to be kennel-trained, housebroken, and rides well in a car. This boy also knows his basic commands and was said to generally mind well. However, he was said to lack body spatial awareness and to jump on people. His prior owner felt he would do best in a home without children, as he had a tendency to knock them over, and they were stated to make him anxious. Harlow James was said to well with the cats in the home, but can be selective with other dogs. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new animals to help set him up for success. Harlow James was said to have mild skin allergies and benefits from being on a limited-ingredient diet and occasional allergy baths. He was said to do well for his baths! If you are interested in meeting Harlow James, please let us know! April 7, 2026, 11:34 pm

Story
Daisy (A140345) is a 2-year-old Lab x Husky mix looking for a Foster to Adopt home! 04/07/26 Daisy arrived at the shelter as a stray in late stages of pregnancy. She has since delivered and weaned her puppies! Now she is looking for her right place to ultimately call home! This is what her current foster has to share about Daisy: Daisy has a big heart and an even bigger love for her dog friends. She can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but give her a moment, and she warms up quickly—especially if you come with a dog! In fact, if there’s a pup involved, you’re instantly part of her circle.Daisy is a wonderful listener and a smart girl, too. She has great recall and already knows commands like sit, down, shake, and touch. She takes treats gently and has an easygoing, happy personality that makes her a joy to be around. One of Daisy’s favorite things? Being close to her people. She absolutely loves lying across your legs (yes, even if it seems like it might be a little uncomfortable ??), and it’s her way of soaking up all the love and giving it right back.If you’re looking for a sweet, dog-loving companion who will blossom with a little patience and a lot of love, Daisy might just be your perfect match! Please call the shelter if you are interested in applying to be a foster for Daisy with the ultimate goal to adopt! April 7, 2026, 11:34 pm
