Story
Taylor (A136414) is a 1-year-old lab mix who weighed nearly 60 lbs at intake!11/02/24 This sweet little thing is Taylor! Taylor arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we don't know a whole lot about her history. She has been absolutely adoring toward the care staff during her stay. She seems to need help learning proper leash technique, as she really likes to be underfoot. Taylor has done well keeping her kennel clean while at the shelter, so she may be housebroken. We do not know how Taylor does with other animals, but she has not seemed to mind the other dogs around her during her stay. Please remember to do all introductions in a slow and controlled manner to allow for the best possible outcome. This affectionate young lady also LOVES her toys! If you are interested in adding Miss Taylor to your home, please give the shelter a call!November 5, 2024, 9:57 pm

Story
Sir (A136270) is a 5-year-old Golden Retriever x AK Husky mix available for adoption! 10/15/24 This energetic boy is Sir! He was surrendered to the shelter because his prior owner felt they could not provide him with the energy outlets that he deserved to live his best life. He was said to love to run and would love to find a new human to go on adventures with! Sir was said to be very smart but does have selective listening when it comes to recall (especially when outdoors). He should always be on a leash, secure tie-out, or supervised when in a fenced-in yard. Sir was also said to love toys and likes to keep his stash of stuffies to himself. Sir was said to be housebroken and to ride well in a car. He was noted to have an allergy to chicken and the vet recommended keeping on a sensitive skin diet. The shelter vet also treated both his ears for ear infections, and we recommend Sirâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s new owner to follow up with their vet. When it comes to meeting new animals Sir was said to do well with the cats in his last home but is not a fan of small dogs. Please ensure you are always making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with any and all new potential friends. If you are interested in meeting Sir, please let us know!
