Story
**** Please read adoption information carefully!!!****
Katya is a sweet, friendly girl! She is very curious, athletic, affectionate and loving. She loves to be loved on, played with, and encouraged.
Katya was rescued from a farm in Tacate. She had been attacked and mauled by a coyote on that farm. A friend of mine took her to the vet for stitches, and then rescued her and brought her to me for treatment and protection. She is fully healed now, and has been spayed and vaccinated. Despite having been attacked by coyotes, she is not fearful of other, larger dogs. She is very playful and would do best in a home with at least one other canine companion.
She is very affectionate, but not necessarily a lap dog. When not playing or investigating the yard, she prefers to snuggle and curl up in an open kennel, with some padding.
Katya is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. All of the puppies at the rescue are fed together, and typically choose to share three or four bowls.
Katya is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. She is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. While I have never seen her interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem.
