Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  November 4, 2024, 9:17 pm

Story
Meet Henry Clay: A Handsome, Lovable Brittany Mix Looking for His Forever Home Hello, I'm Henry Clay, a 4-year-old, 44 lb red and white Brittany mix with a heart full of love to give! I was lucky enough to become a NBRAN Brittany wanna-be, and they've promised to find me a wonderful, loving home. I’ve got a unique mix of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and Brittany in my lineage, making me as charming and lovable as they come. Why I’m the Perfect Addition to Your Family: Healthy and Ready: I’m up-to-date on all my vaccines, heartworm and tick negative, and on prevention. I had surgery for cherry eye, as you can see my eye looks perfect now! Playful and Social: Even though I've been in boarding, I’ve had plenty of fun playing with other dogs, splashing in the water, and enjoying my toys. I’ve been spoiled, but now I’m ready for my very own family to love me. Lovable Companion: I promise to be just as lovable as any purebred Brittany. I’m a friendly, affectionate boy who just wants to be part of a family. My Dream Family: I’m looking for a patient and loving family who understands that I may need a little time to adjust to home life after being in boarding. But don’t worry—I’m eager to learn and will quickly become your best friend. Will you be the family to say, "That's my baby boy"? I’m ready to meet you and start our new adventure together! The adoption fee for OK/Henry Clay who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $325,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making Henry Clay  part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Henry Clay. Transportation can be arranged up to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.    November 4, 2024, 9:17 pm

Story
Meet Ford: The Toy-Loving, Critter-Chasing Goofball Looking for Love! Hey there! My brother found his forever home, and now it’s my turn! I’m Ford, a 1 ½-year-old, 49 lb orange and white neutered male Brittany, and I’m still on the hunt for an amazing home filled with love, snuggles, and, most importantly, TOYS! Why I’m the Perfect Goofball for You: Toy Enthusiast: Did I mention I LOVE toys? Squeaky ones, bouncy ones, chewy ones—you name it, I want it! You can’t spoil me too much when it comes to toys! Best Friend Material: I’m all about being your loyal buddy. Whether it’s playing with my toys, chewing on bones, or just being by your side, I’m here for it all. Yard Patrol Expert: I need a physical fenced-in yard so I can run, play, and chase away any critters that think they own the place. They need to know who's boss (hint: it’s me). My Dream Home: A Family Who Loves Fun: I’m looking for a family that loves to play and doesn’t mind a little silliness. Lots of Snuggles: I’m a sweetheart who loves to snuggle up and be close to my humans. A Yard for Adventures: I need a safe place to run and play to my heart’s content. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, toy-obsessed pup who will keep you laughing and loving life, I’m your guy! Let’s make every day an adventure filled with fun and friendship. I’m Ford, and I can’t wait to meet you!
