Lady Bug came from a hoarding situation that was not so kind to her, but that doesn't stop her from having gentle soul with a heart full of love, sweet Lady Bug is searching for a forever home where they can shower herwith affection and be cherished in return. With big, soulful eyes. She wants just wants to cuddle up on the couch with their new best friend and feel safe. Perfect for someone seeking a loyal companion who thrives on companionship and will shower you with unconditional love. Bug as she is now called, is a lover. She has moderate energy but would prefer to follow you around. She will play with toys, loves other dogs and will need a calm kind doggy companion. She does need leash work. Housebroken and will go into a crate altho its not her fav. She is very quiet. On the shy side she will need time to acclimate to a new household, thus the need for another dog and a fenced yard would be awesome. Great girl for long walks, hiking those boat rides and just a loving companion for you. She is fine with kids, not tested with cats.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar.  They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Mango born 12/31/24.  He is a goofy boy who likes to play with toys and seems to get along well with everyone. He arrived with minor parasites. He has been treated and he is ready for a new home. We prefer a home who has experience with cockers or a similar breed. Adoption fee is 950.00. This includes transport to the SE. He is NOT housetrained yet.   Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a  $20.00  donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. Please read the FAQ on our website for additional information. Adoption fees are cash or money order only.
