They say finding the perfect dog is like finding a four-leaf clover—rare, special, and full of good fortune. Well, Lucky you! Because Lucky is here to bring joy, love, and a whole lot of fun into your life! At 30 pounds, Lucky is the perfect medium-sized dog—not too big, not too small, but just right. This 2-year-old Springer-Brittany Spaniel mix (with a little “who knows what” sprinkled in) is 100% adorable and 1000% ready to be your new best friend. Lucky was a staff favorite at the shelter, charming everyone with his outgoing personality and friendly nature. He’s got just the right blend of playful energy and snuggly sweetness—basically, he hit the jackpot! What makes Lucky so… well, lucky? Tennis ball fanatic: Throw a ball, and you’ll make his day. He’ll happily entertain himself but loves a good game of fetch with his people. Parkour pro: Got a backyard? He’ll show off his athletic moves! Cuddle bug: After playtime, he’s all about belly rubs, neck scratches, and being tucked in with a blanket. Social butterfly: Lucky loves everyone—people, dogs of all sizes, and kids alike! A day in the life of Lucky: 7:00 AM: Quick potty break (he’s not a morning guy but makes the effort!) 7:30 AM: Morning walk—he’s a dream on leash, staying close and checking in with sweet eye contact. 10:00 AM: Breakfast—he likes to savor his mornings before eating. 5:00 PM: Evening stroll to stretch his legs and sniff the neighborhood news. 7:00 PM: Dinner followed by relaxation—probably on his beloved bean bag chair or snuggled next to you. Lucky’s foster home hasn’t needed to use a crate—he’s content hanging out in an X-pen where he can stretch out in his signature sploot position. He knows commands like “Sit” and “Paw” and communicates with adorable little nose boops to let you know, “Hey, I’m here!” Need extra attention? He’ll gently place his paw on you, requesting cuddles or a quick play session. Sit at his level, and you’ll be showered with kisses—it’s impossible not to smile. Fun facts about Lucky: Prefers human food smells over dog treats (keep those snacks out of reach!). About 90% potty trained—just needs a consistent schedule to finish the job! Loves sunshine, bean bags, and being part of whatever you’re doing. His gentle, playful nature makes him a great fit for families, singles, and everyone in between. Who’s Lucky looking for?Someone ready for a loyal, affectionate, and entertaining companion! Lucky would thrive with an active family or individual who enjoys walks, fetch sessions, and lazy cuddle days. He’s happy with or without another dog, as long as he’s included in the fun. So, if you’ve been searching for that just right dog—the one who makes every day feel like you’ve struck gold—look no further. With Lucky in your life, happiness is just a tail wag away. Adopt Lucky... because sometimes the best things in life really do come down to a little luck!February 24, 2025, 5:17 pm
