Story
Elgie came in as one hot mess. She was missing fur that seemed to be a flea allergy. Her eyes were crusted shut. Despite it all she just wanted love. For her eyes she was actually suffering from entropion, where her own lashes curled inward and irritated her eyes. Our vet was able to correct this with surgery. As to her skin, that was a tougher matter to figure out and just when we thought we had it corrected with food and allergy medicine, bam, some kittens came in with ringworm and Elgie caught it. It takes a long time to treat and being stuck in a cage all that time really took a toll on her. She fights and hisses when picked up because she thinks she`s being put back in her cage or getting more medicine. We know sweet Elgie is still in there, but it will take being in a home and finally being able to relax for it to come out. She also would like to be the only kitty. We hope there is someone willing to give her a chance, even though she will probably be so rude to you when you meet her!

Story
We think Brutus would like to be an only cat. He can get over stimulated and get aggressive, so we think he`d be better suited to working cat life where there`s lots to do and never get bored. He probably could live in a cat savvy home without children. Probably no dogs.

Good with kids, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
From the owner: This sweet girl is in need of a new forever home! Iris came to stay with us after a family member had a medical emergency and couldn't keep her anymore. She's super loving & playful, and has been spoiled all her life. She wants to be with people ALL the time. If allowed to sleep with you in the bed, she'll either be your perfect teddy bear, or share your pillow! She's very playful and always curious to meet new people. It only took her a few days with us to feel like our house was "home," and she quickly became "queen of the castle." Iris sadly doesn't do well with other cats, because she wants to be the center of attention. She unfortunately hasn't been able to integrate with our older cats, and we're having to keep them separated until we can find a permanent home for her. She really needs to be a solo kitty. If you're looking for a super cuddly love-bug who loves belly rubs, Iris is your girl!

Good with kids, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
From the owner: She's the sweetest cat ever, and I'm sad to have to give her up. Rescued her as a kitten and she was bottle-raised, so she is super bonded to people. Phoebe is super loving and is pretty mellow most of the time. She's a little over 2.5 years old, and gets along well with kids and other cats. Never been around dogs, so not sure how she would react. A little shy with new people, but once she knows you, she'll be your best friend. While Phoebe herself is great with other cats, she tends to be more submissive, which makes her the target of bullying from the other cats in our house. I'm sure she would love to be someone's only pet, but would also do good with another chill cat who wouldn't push her around too much. She's gentle and cuddly, but is young enough that she's also still playful (without being overly crazy.) I think she'd do well with kids who are a little on the older side who can respect her space (maybe 7-8+). I think with really young kids, she might be a little nervous and prefer to hide. She's just a really sweet, loving companion, and deserves a home where she doesn't have to be afraid of another animal bullying her.

Story
I am sad that I have to make this profile but we can no longer keep Oscar. He has been having a few litter box issues ever since we had our second child back in March. He urinates outside of the litter box but specifically on our kids toys. He does not do it all the time. He will go weeks without doing it and be fine but then he will start up again. We think it’s just because of the kids. He needs to be in a home without kids and with someone who can give him the attention he needs. He is so loving, friendly, loves to play and cuddle. We just don’t have the space or time to help make sure he keeps going in his litter box. If we can not find him a new home we will have to put him down. I just want to give him a chance in a loving home. If he continues to go out of the litter box, we will take him back and have him put down. Any questions, please reach out. Thank you.

Story
Are you ready to meet the sweetest feline you’ll ever encounter, who is ready to spread some love into your life?Meet Toast! Toast is a 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair/Mix. This big and beautiful girl may be larger than your average house cat, but her heart is even bigger. With a purr that’s as warm as freshly baked bread, she’s the perfect companion for those lazy mornings when you just want to brunch in bed. Toast enjoys lounging in sunbeams like butter on warm toast and will always bring a smile to your face with her delightful antics. If you’re ready to add some sweetness to your life, consider adopting Toast—because life is always “better with butter!”We are not totally sure on the specifics of what Toast`s past life was, however it does seem like at one point she was an outdoor kitty as she has a `tipped/notched ear` which is indicative of her potentially once being a TNR cat. Toast has no interest in returning to that life, she wants a cushy life inside with snuggles and snacks!Toast came in with 3 other cats that she previously lived with and does great with other cats. Toast may do well living in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed. Toast is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. If you think Toast could be the one for you, please fill out an adoption application on our website!
