Story
Muffin Top here is a timid girl, looking for a quiet home to settle down in. She was brought here because she was stressed out by a baby in her previous home, she just wants a quiet and calm place so children in the home may stress her out. She can be playful at times, and enjoys crinkle balls and laser pointers. She isn't a huge fan of catnip though! Muffin Top previously lived with a cat and coexisted well. If you are a patient person who is okay with a sweet shy kitty, she may be the one for you!Meet Muffin Top at out shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Story
Jyn here is a very special girl, and our longest term cat resident here at OAHS. Jyn resides in our administrative offices, and likes to supervise and keep everyone on track. She has a very special place in the hearts of many of our staff. Jyn has quite the fiery spirit, she has very strong boundaries and will enforce them. She has her favorite people that she will follow around the offices and even likes to help out with paperwork and phone calls! She has even been seen laying on her favorite people's laps, and pushing herself right into their faces to get attention. Toys are really fun for Jyn, especially laser pointers and toy mice. Jyn takes extra time to adjust to new situations and people, and is on a medication to help her deal with the stress of the shelter (which she can be transitioned off of once she is adopted). Jyn is a queen and needs to be the only pet in the home, she doesn't want to share your attention. If you are someone who doesn't mind a diva cat who can be a bit spicy, consider adopting Jyn! She would be an absolutely perfect helper if you have a home office. :) Meet Jyn at out shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats at OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Story
Hello, I'm Wiggles. I've had a rough time throughout the years, going from a shelter, a home, and then back to another shelter. My life has been very secluded, so adjusting to new places is hard for me. It takes me awhile to trust people and realize that they're okay. I made a few friends here at OAHS but I only love one to two people. Loud noises and feet scare me so sometimes I yell when I'm really scared. But when I'm comfortable and realize you're a safe person I just want to be by you or in your lap. In my foster home I like to watch the birds and play. It took me awhile to adjust to another new home again but I'm slowly getting there. My foster mom was really patient with me when I got scared and yelled at her. I would really like a quiet home of my own, where my people will have patience and love me the way I am.My ideal home- Will respect my boundaries- Will give me space to be myself - Does not have other pets or young childrenContact our cat team at 920-424-2128 ext.106 or cat@oahs.org for more information about how to adopt this adorable sweetheart! All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Story
This is Lettie,Lettie is a vibrant personality who is looking for just the right person to welcome her into their hearts. She arrived at OAHS with a handful of kittens she was able to raise in foster, and now that she's settling into shelter life we've learned a lot about her. Lettie is bonkers, she launches herself off her condo shelves and ricochets around until she finally dives under her bed. She can co-exist with the right cat friend but we have her in her own condo for a very unique reason- Lettie is still learning how to manage her strong feelings and acting out on impulsive thoughts. Lettie needs an experienced home who can both enjoy her goofy playful side, as well as her attitude. If you're interested in adopting Lettie, we encourage you to stop by our shelter during our open hours to meet her and take a peek at her or any of our available feline friends to see if they're a good match for you and your home. Or reach out to the cat team at cat@oahs.org or give us a call at 920-424-2128 ext 106All cats at OAHS are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, as well as behaviorally and medically monitored by the staff at the shelter to ensure they're ready to get into their new home.

This is the firey Boise! She is a very special kitty, she's got a very bold personality, but she has stolen all of our hearts here at the shelter! She is the kind of cat that has very strong boundaries, she will let you know when she wants her space. Boise is very social and will show her affection by walking across your desk while you're working, rubbing against you and making herself cozy on your lap. She doesn't really understand what personal space is... Does Boise sound like the kitty for you?- Does not like other cats- Would do best in a quiet, experienced home- Needs an adult only home-Professional spider hunter-occasional food thiefMeet Boise at our shelter during open hours, Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or contact our cat team at 920-424-2128 ext.106 or cat@oahs.org for more information about how to adopt this adorable sweetheart! All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.

Kidda is peeking out of her hidey hole to say hello! She is quite the strong-willed girl, with a strong personality! She was quite upset upon arrival here, and it took her some time to adjust, but now she is ready for a new start. She likes to come out when people visit her and rub against them when she feels comfortable. When she is really happy and enjoying pets she will 'elevator butt' which is super adorable. Independant is a good word to describe her, she likes things on her own terms but also doesn't mind some gentle pets!Kidda is on a special urinary diet to help prevent crystals from forming in her bladder, you can ask the cat desk ladies for more information about her and her needs! - Sweet but independent- Needs a quiet home with no other pets- On a prescription dietDo you think Kidda is the one for you? Story
Fig is currently in a foster home which has helped us learn more about her. She will be needing a calmer and more relaxed home. Fig has shown us what kind of kitten antics she can get into now that she has settled into her fosters home. Fig prefers to be loyal to her special person but with enough patience may let another person into her social circle. Fig enjoys peeking out the windows and will sometimes just be a tail peeking out from the curtains. Fig enjoys vertical scratchers so a home with proper places to scratch is a must. Due to her bashful behavior with unfamiliar people she will need a patient person who will let her warm up at her own pace. Since being in a foster home it has been noted by his foster that Morris is a very sweet boy once he warms up and will purr up a storm as well as talk to you. He would do okay with another respectful cat in the home and really just wants someone willing to give him pets.We believe he will need both time and patience in his future home for his true personality to shine through as the sweet and kind gentleman we, and his foster, have seen him to be.Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. Toasty is positive for FIV and on a prescription diet for life as well as a joint supplement for Luxating Patella in one of her hind legs that will need to be monitored regularly with a vet. Mitchell is confused how he ended up here and at first spent a lot of his time tucked away in his favorite box. Mitchell was a stray but was surely loved once and is looking for someone who will give him a home and love him again. Mitchell is a sweet and friendly boy who loves everyone and anyone he meets. He is very inquisitive and loves exploring his cat room and the catio while watching the world go by. Mitchell gets along well with other cats, but he does typically keeps to himself after a polite greeting. You will always find this handsome boy in our shelter's catio and he would love to meet you and get some attention next time you visit!
