Story
Hello, I’m Applesauce. I came to JR`s with my two kittens. They found their forever home and now I`m on the lookout for one of my own. I am still not a fan of dogs and need a home without them. I`m trying to learn to live with other cats, but I really prefer to be the boss. One other submissive cat might be OK. My foster mom also thinks I would not be great with small children because of my bossy side; however I do have a sweet side. I want lots of attention. If you aren`t paying enough attention to me, don`t worry I will let you know by talking your ear off. I`ve got lots of energy and would love a home with people who will play with me.Ask to meet me Adoption fee: $125 All cats/kittens have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the `HOW TO ADOPT` tab on our website at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and landlord. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. Hi!! My name is Lyric and I was the mama to the Poetry litter, who have all been adopted into loving families of their own! Now that I`ve raised my babies, I`m very ready for a furever family of my very own! I am sweet, cuddly and SUPER chill around other animals & new people (even if they aren`t a fan of me!) I love taking naps and my belly is always to the sky for belly scratches! I currently live with a Great Dane and 2 other female cats, I`ve made fast friends with the resident dog and I don`t bat an eye when my foster moms` cat hisses at me. My foster mom says I`d make the purrfect addition to any family, maybe that can be with you!You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $125All cats/kittens have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Introducing ICY!Icy is estimated to be about 11 years old but she has sooo much love to give! This incredibly SWEET little lady would love a furever home with a comfy bed to cozy up in & to cuddle up with her furever people. She loves to nap her day away (life is so rough being a cat!) but gets excited like a kitten when she knows it`s feeding time! Likely due to her time on the streets, Icy is quite scared of dogs and would do best in a home without them OR in a home with a cat savvy dog, that will not invade her personal bubble!Adoption fee: $125All cats/kittens have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Tiger is THE SWEETEST momma, she came to us with two babies who have found their forever homes.  Momma absolutely LOVES to be touched, held, and loved on.  She purrs LOUDLY when talked to or near.  She loves attention and will rub herself all over you, pat at you, or paw you for attention.  She is learning how to play and be a cat. She enjoys watching out windows and is getting more comfortable with the resident dogs, learning a little more each day that they aren't going to hurt her.  She talks to her foster family with loud trills of purrs and meows for attention.   Animal is Fostered in Union Grove, WI  For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines.  Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog;  CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat  - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated.   PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.   Dewormed All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam.  All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources.  Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found!  Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   ##2189178##

Miss Bonnie is a independent girl who will need to find a home with her brother Clyde. They are a bonded pair. Bonnie enjoys to watch from a distance and observe what is going on. Story
Hi. My name is Chesney. I’m three years old, but I look and play like a little kitten. If you have any toys - I’m all in! I love cheek rubs, wet food, and all my cat friends here at the shelter. The shelter is the first place I felt safe. Before I got here, I lived in a home that was… well, not good. There were a lot, - I mean a lot of cats, and we didn’t get enough positive human interaction, so we never learned to trust. When I first got to LAS I was terrified. If a person even looked at me, I ran away. It was wet food and toys that taught me that people can be kind to me. And slowly I learned to trust some of the people at the shelter. In fact, now they can pet me and I love it. I love them. When I think about getting adopted, I know that I’ll need: 1) another cat in the home, 2) a quieter environment, and 3) people who are experienced with cats like me. Despite making amazing gains with people here, moving to a new place will be traumatic, so my new family will have to know that it will take me a good while to recover. So, that’s me emotionally. Physically, I have something called *FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). That means I have a reduced immune system. My health issues sometimes scare people away. Being POS-FIV, my adopters will just have to take super great care of me, like having nutritious food and 2X year vet visits. FIV positive cats can live long lives with a bit of extra care. I hope you are the person that will give me a forever home. Please come to LAS and talk to the staff about adopting me. I’ll be in the Teal adoption room waiting for you! *LAS routinely checks for FIV, as it is a common virus found in cats living outdoors. All of the cats in the Teal adoption room have tested positive for FIV. You cannot catch FIV, and you can’t spread it. It is only transmitted by blood from one feline to another. Please come visit our FIV cats, they are some of the friendliest cats we have at the shelter.
