Story
My adoption fee is $75 Here's what you need to know about me:I'm Isabela, a petite red tabby girl with a heart that's slowly learning to trust. My journey hasn't been easy, and I'm still finding my courage in this big world. Right now, I'm a shy little lady who's most comfortable in quiet moments, carefully exploring my surroundings. But don't let my timidity fool you - I'm a lovebug waiting to bloom! When I feel safe, I absolutely melt into pets, even rolling around and making bread in my hidey boxes. I'm taking small, brave steps every day - venturing out to ask for gentle attention from my office friends and showing glimpses of the affectionate girl I can be. My ideal family will understand that I need a calm, quiet home with an incredibly patient approach. I require a minimum four-week slow introduction in a room without any unreachable hiding spots. When I feel secure, I want nothing more than to be attached to my humans, showering them with quiet, soft meows and gentle love. I'm starting to discover my playful side too, especially when it comes to string-like wand toys that bring out my inner kitten. I'm not looking for a wild adventure, just a peaceful home where I can heal, grow, and eventually become the devoted companion I'm meant to be. Patient hands, quiet spaces, and understanding hearts are the keys to winning my trust. If there are kids in my new family, I need them to be older than 10 and I also need to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more. Primary Color: Red Tabby Weight: 6.8 Age: 3yrs 1mths 3wks

I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.Hi there! I'm Golly, and I'm a curious adventurer who loves exploring every nook and cranny I can find! When I'm not bouncing around the place during my super-fun zoomie sessions, you'll find me keeping busy with my toys or chasing after those exciting wand toys. My favorite thing is just hanging out near my humans - I don't need constant cuddles, I just love being where the action is and sharing space with my people. I'm a spunky little soul who brings energy and joy wherever I go!Here's what you need to know about me:I have special medical needs. Story
Tippy is a buff/orange tabby kitten ready to meet the family who will take him home and love him forever! Tippy has three siblings who are his constant playmates, and we'll place them as pairs. They are all equally compatible so Tippy may be paired with Tinker, Tully, or Tallulah. Tippy also has three legs! He's been a tripod since he was tiny, and he's adapted very well--Tippy has no problem at all keeping up with his siblings and has no idea there's anything different about him. ** The "T" kittens will only be adopted in pairs. ** All four kittens are loving, playful, and confident. They enjoy endless hours playing together and they get along well with the other cats in their foster home. They haven't lived with a dog, but we believe they could happily co-exist with a cat-savvy dog and proper introductions. They love all kinds of toys and "chase and rassle" games. We would describe their activity level as 9+ on a scale of 10. Eventually their kitten energy will subside, but they will do best in a home that isn’t currently filled with delicate, valuable objects. When playtime is over, they love cuddling in a warm lap and they will expect to be welcomed to sleep on the bed with the people in their new home. All of our kittens for adoption have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV. The adoption fee is $150 for a pair. If you are interested in meeting Tinker, Tully, Tippy, and Tallulah, please fill out the adoption interest form at our website (www.pdx-petadoption.org) and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark. Animal Rescue & Care Fund is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.

Story
Noodle is a very sweet, talkative, and cuddly 8 year old tortie who would be happy in any home where she can sit on someone’s lap or lay on someone’s chest while they sleep. She loves everyone. She would prefer to be the only cat, but she gets along with respectful dogs and other cats if they know how to play. Noodle has an undiagnosed neurological issue that causes her to have seizures once a week, almost like clockwork. When she has an episode, she needs to be carefully monitored for about 6 hours while she regains her mobility. She takes Keppra orally to manage her seizures 3 times a day (8 hours apart), usually first thing in the morning, then around 3 or 4, and before bed. She is really easy to medicate since she’s been doing it for years. She requires a yearly neurology checkup to renew her prescription (averages about $30 for a 30 day supply). Her neurology appointments cost about $150. Before adopting her, I’d like you to come meet her and any other siblings she might have.

Story
Meet Pete, a charming and playful tuxedo cat who's on the lookout for his forever home! Pete is a vibrant ~2-year-old former stray who found his way to us when he needed a little extra care for a foot injury. After receiving the love and attention he deserves—surgery, neutering, and all his vaccinations—he joined our family in August. However, we've realized that Pete is looking for a different environment where he can thrive. He loves the outdoors, but unfortunately, he's had a few altercations with some neighborhood cats, which means he’s been indoors more than he would like. This has made him a bit restless, and we want him to be as happy as possible! Pete is full of energy and affection! He adores getting scratches and is always ready for a cozy nap in his bed. The perfect home for him would be one without other pets or outdoor cats, where he can explore and play freely.

These pups are in Vancouver, Washington too!

Christmas kittens available! We need to rehome ASAP. We have 5 currently. All black. Our cat who was unfortunately less than a year old ran away and came home pregnant. We were planning on getting her fixed at 1 year but things happen. We fostered and cared for the kittens up until they are now weaned, but we’re unable to house them for much longer and all the shelters are full. We’re desperately looking for loving homes for these little babies.
