Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:Hi there! I'm Marioposa, and like the butterfly I'm named after, I move through life with quiet grace. While I may not be the first to greet you at the door, I have a special gift for making peaceful moments even more magical. Once I trust you, you'll discover playful side, especially when ribbon toys are involved. I'm looking for a patient home where I can blossom at my own pace - could yours be the perfect garden for this butterfly to settle in?I need a slow introduction to cats. I can share my space with cats, but I'd like to get used to the idea over time. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.24 Age: 3yrs 7mths 0wks

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home.Hi there! I'm Ziggy. I can be pretty nervous in new spaces and when meeting new people - it takes me a while to feel comfortable. But here's a funny thing about me: even when I'm feeling unsure, I just can't help but lift my rear end (they call it elevator butt!) when I get pets - it's completely out of my control! I'll need a patient family who understands that I need to take things slow. Starting me off in just one room of my new home would be great, and once I feel safe, I'm a real love bug who enjoys gentle attention and quiet bonding time. Here's what you need to know about me:I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.If there are kids in my new home, I need them to be older than 6 and must meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.5 Age: 2yrs 1mths 0wks

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:Hi there! My name is Agatha, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a wallflower at first - you might find me observing you thoughtfully from behind my favorite blanket at first. But don't let my shy demeanor fool you; I'm actually quite the curious cat once I feel safe, and I love investigating everything from paper bags to sunbeams when I think no one's watching. While it may take me a little time to warm up, those who earn my trust are rewarded with my signature move: enthusiastic headbutts that my friends at the shelter say feel like little love taps from a velvet hammer. I'm also quite skilled at gentle purrs and have a special talent for cheering you up when you're having a rough day. I'm looking for a patient family who understands that the best relationships are like mystery novels, they unfold at their own perfect pace.If there are kids in my new home, I need to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.I would do best a home without cats. I have a hard time getting along - even if they don't mind me, I prefer to not be in the same home with them. Story
Noodle is a very sweet, talkative, and cuddly 8 year old tortie who would be happy in any home where she can sit on someone’s lap or lay on someone’s chest while they sleep. She loves everyone. She would prefer to be the only cat, but she gets along with respectful dogs and other cats if they know how to play. Noodle has an undiagnosed neurological issue that causes her to have seizures once a week, almost like clockwork. When she has an episode, she needs to be carefully monitored for about 6 hours while she regains her mobility. She takes Keppra orally to manage her seizures 3 times a day (8 hours apart), usually first thing in the morning, then around 3 or 4, and before bed. She is really easy to medicate since she’s been doing it for years. She requires a yearly neurology checkup to renew her prescription (averages about $30 for a 30 day supply). Her neurology appointments cost about $150. Before adopting her, I’d like you to come meet her and any other siblings she might have.

Story
Meet Pete, a charming and playful tuxedo cat who's on the lookout for his forever home! Pete is a vibrant ~2-year-old former stray who found his way to us when he needed a little extra care for a foot injury. After receiving the love and attention he deserves—surgery, neutering, and all his vaccinations—he joined our family in August. However, we've realized that Pete is looking for a different environment where he can thrive. He loves the outdoors, but unfortunately, he's had a few altercations with some neighborhood cats, which means he’s been indoors more than he would like. This has made him a bit restless, and we want him to be as happy as possible! Pete is full of energy and affection! He adores getting scratches and is always ready for a cozy nap in his bed. The perfect home for him would be one without other pets or outdoor cats, where he can explore and play freely.

Story
Junior used to belong to our previous upstairs neighbor, who has since moved out and abandoned him in the process. We'd been taking care of him at our complex for about 4 years before we brought him inside. He is happy and energetic, always wants to play, and very friendly, but he doesn't get along well with our other cats and we unfortunately don't have the energy required to keep up with his high play-drive. During his time outside, he was taken in by a TNR program, indicated by his tipped ear, so he has already been neutered, but has not been to the vet since. He is an indoor-only cat for his own safety and the safety of the local bird population (he is a bit too good at hunting), and we would prefer to adopt him to a home that plans to keep him indoor-only. We think he would do best in a home where someone is always around to give him attention and play with him. He can get along with some cats (just not ours), but we don't know how he is around children or dogs.

Story
My mother's health is declining and she can no longer take care of Boston. My mother lives at an assisted living facility and the Boston can't be there. Boston cannot stay with me as she doesn't get along with my big dog and my partner is allergic. She is a sweetheart when she gets to know you and is relaxed. She is currently guarded due to her living circumstances and she is a bit feisty. You have to learn her body language but once she warms up to you she is very loving. Please help her have a wonderful retirement. She deserves it.

Story
Lucky is a social love bug. He has only been with my other cat (female) and me since his eyes opened. Although he is a senior, he happily runs at full speed and flies up and down his 7’ cat tree. He is a talker and is very affectionate. He wouldn’t do well as an only cat but is more set in his ways against dogs. He has been indoor his whole life and is not declawed (I have always personally kept them trimmed). He eats wet and dry food, but LOVES wet food the most.

Story
Mylah is a playful and loving kitty and does best with an owner who loves cuddles. Mylah has resided with both cats and dogs and does well with both. Mylah can be shy when meeting new people but quickly warms up. Mylah's favorite past times are cuddling with her favorite humans, taking naps in her own hammock, and playing with fluffy catnip toys. This has been a very emotional process for me as I have had Mylah since she was a kitten. I am relocating out of town for employment and am unable to take her with. I want Mylah to go to a home that will be patient with her during this transition. She is a great pet, but has never been rehomed so this is new to us.
